As for nationalisation... well, anything might happen in the future, but China is Mexico's second largest market for goods and they also import various necessities such as oil products, petrol etc, so they would have to be careful before they annoyed them!

Someone on the advfn board says they've seen the last of Bushveld's holding go through which could explain it. Since December they've sold their 8% stake including the last 3% in the last week or so. They're out now though, so we should see a bottom soon. Hopefully!

It’s possible that the strike at Bushveld has got people spooked into thinking our vanadium supply is going to dry up. Beyond that it really is guess work. All things considered there’s no reason to suspect bad news, the latest trading update gave no suggestion that anything was wrong. We’ll just have to keep our fingers crossed!

It's only a small rebalancing of their portfolio, given the trading update we had in Feb I can't believe there's many surprises coming up next week.

Don't worry Capri, there are several good things coming over the next few months (Oxford Superhub, end of year results, increase in manufacturing) and there is nothing wrong with the company which is reducing the sp, no bad news etc. It could be the last bit of Bushveld selling off their holding. Either way, in my opinion, the sp has been pushed lower than it should be and will hopefully spring back. Schroders have been increasing their stake which is a good sign.

Agree 100% little bricks. This year has been about consolidation and survival. I heard something on the news this week that it will take five years for surgery to catch up with the back log. I know these figures are conjured up (and based on what? Nothing like this has happened before!) but either way it looks like the market is there for TRX's products and with the expansion complete and finances on a secure footing (which is the main thing these results will hopefully confirm!) then we can look forward for a good few years of improvement for this company. Fingers and toes crossed of course!

As a retired medic/surgeon your opinion definitely carries weight, at least in my opinion. I look forward to reading your future posts on this stock. I agree with all you've said and would just add that with the new capacity for production coming online for TRX and the inevitable months/years of elective surgery backlog in the US and across the world as TRX expands it's portfolio this should do well.

Plus, it's HQ is in Yorkshire. God's own country. What more could you ask for? Lol!

Hopefully the key word is in the first sentence and it really is 'temporary'. Whether that word is from the Burundi Govt or a hopeful insertion by George remains to be seen. Definitely a drop in the morning, I'm finding some pennies to top up!

We've been having peaks and troughs for six weeks now, each peak is higher than the last and each trough is less deep than it's predecessor. There's not a lot in it, but it is generally trending upwards. Unfortunately, if the pattern continues, we're due a drop this week! If it doesn't go lower than 41p then we're on the up.

Bottom line: Don't panic Mr Mainwaring!

They are the biggest holder, but only just after this reduction. They shed some shares in Feb too. Hopefully they're done now otherwise it tends to look bad!

Not something I've come across, I suppose without anything to explain the judgement it's difficult to argue against it without pointing out all the fundamentals behind the company. There are several recent videos on youtube from George Burnett the CEO if you want to reassure yourself.

True enough James, hopefully the western world will wake up and catch on!

Unfortunately lithium batteries have two things in their favour. Their comparitive cheapness at the point of purchase and their established nature as a technology. VRFBs aren't mainstream tech yet and as such funding is harder to come by. Once projects like the Oxford super hub are up and running this should begin to change. Every new tech has to go through this process of changing from 'weird and new' to 'wonderful and workable'. Hopefully VRFBs will move to the latter category soon!
