As an ex-UKOG LTH I can only say there are much better quality options out there to make cash. UKOG is a terrible choice.

Anyone invested here and should really know the answer to that already. Every time a well is drilled in a new area it's a reset. In this case past performance is no indicator of future performance. Yes, there can be differences in preparation between each drill - some are based on better technology and information than others - but essentially this well may hit oil, or it may miss. So far the signs are encouraging but nothing is proven. This COS was 37% before - with the latest RNS I judge this as 50/50 now. That's very good for a drill like this. GL.

Takeover News Confirmed!

The CEO of Ricardo2019 Enterprises, Ricardo2019 is pleased to announce a hostile takeover of 88e. Ricardo2019 said "I am confident of a successful takeover of 88e. So far we have successfully gained ownership of 800,000 shares. We intend to purchase the remainder as soon as our other AIM investments recoup their huge losses. The 88e BoD have made a huge mistake in allowing these shares to remain on the open market, and we intend to purchase them all."
Industry Analysts have strongly backed the hostile takeover with Motley Fool both praising and dismissing the audacious attempt in the same article. SimplyWallSt has priced 88e under Ricardo2019 ownership as being worth 20 x TSLA current market cap. A strong reaction also came from a joint statement from the combined boiler room ramping group on LSE who stated "This hostile takeover has zero chance of completion before the declaration of free flowing commercial oil we know is coming tomorrow, plus 3 other well drills and total productionisation of the entire North Slope which we believe will be done by Friday."

Dreamland99, we know there is oil there. The drill aims to find it - that's why they're drilling. Two things are needed - 1) they need to hit it with the drill, and that isn't easy, 2) the oil find needs to be commercial.

Stop pretending you know anything about oil exploration and implying that the drill company know the drill results. You don't and they don't. Stop trying to mislead people - it's dishonest and shows a lack of integrity and maturity.

Full disclosure - I have traded ALGW once. I missed out on the 5p spike but I traded a later small spike and bought back in not long after on the retrace. In those days there was more volatility and it was easier to predict the price action. But I believe that this company has matured somewhat, and on a path of sustained growth now. Which I am thankful for because I am not a natural trader - I tend towards being a LTH in most of my investments. I am very happy to hold now and don't feel any pressure to trade this one at all.

I think this share has a higher proportion of holders that see the long term potential. I am 80%, 85%, and 190% up on my 3 ALGW purchases. Am I selling? Am I heck. Much more to come.
