Sorry Codejunkie, but I think you're looking at a record of your excess application in your account, and not what you have been allocated. My AJBell account seems to be the same - there's an entry for excess shares which could be interpreted as if I have been allocated all the shares I asked for, but actually I think it's just a record of my application.

42% up. Good buying but too many sells to allow this to really spike.

I'm going to guess at 1.9p on speculation alone. It might hit over 2p (2.5p would be awesome) but that'll be brief. Please don't be sucked in by the small number of ramping morons who have no clue what they are talking about (luckily it's fairly obvious who they are). You are lucky that on this board we have a good number of knowledgeable and battle scarred LTHs to learn from.

If you are here for the oil then I don't think you've missed the boat at all. 1.5p isn't a massively high price for this stock so if commercial oil is proven then you could make very decent profits. If the drill fails then there are other prospects but I'd expect to see well under a penny in the short to medium term in that scenario.

Nope, but he knows his long suffering LTHs have been through the mill with this share. So we need that good fortune and this is Dave's last chance to give it to us. It's a nice sentiment but nothing more at this stage.

Yes to a degree, within the UK and AUS markets. The US exposure is mostly new. The other aspect though is that last time the interest was mostly organic as far as I could tell. This time more of it has been manufactured. The Reddit exposure is new. Of course, there was always stuff on Twitter about previous drills. But then, every time we get rampers come out of the woodwork - just like any share. The use of social media platforms to spread the word wider is just giving us more of what we had before I guess.

Implications on the cash position/cash raising if this drill fails? Need to consider that basic factor when talking about drilling other wells.

x10 minimum? That would be 35p which in the heady days of the basement play having massive potential seemed way undervalued - and hence the reason why the SP went much higher than 35p. Now, look where we are. we can pay the bills in the short term but the medium term might be rough and the long term is not assured. In fact, the most likely long term outcomes at the moment seems to be that we'll be bust, taken over or diluted into oblivion. And don't tell me that the BoD are giving us or the professionals (CA) any confidence that they have a plan to get us past our one declining well! I think x5 is possible within the year but only if the BoD sort out a financed FWP. Not looking good that, is it? If they don't sort the FWP then we shareholders are done. It'll be over and we'll be taken out for an oh so wonderful 50% premium to the closing price that the BoD are 'pleased to recommend'. Or totally fecked when the well goes uneconomic. Face it, this share right now isn't even much use to day traders never mind LTHs.

Yes, agreed, because we've never seen artificial ramping like this at this stage. The price increase has been artificially constructed and it doesn't have underlying support - hence the retrace.

We should see one other ramp because there is a clear opportunity there for it. The rampers know that news is coming, so they'll use that as their 'headline' and try to time any ramp at least a day or so beforehand so they can ride the increase, make their % and then de-risk before news. While I saw the last ramp coming and used that to de-risk, I'm going to sit out the next one and await results.

Hmm... my account has now been updated with excess shares - exactly the amount I requested as it happens. Makes me suspicious... is that just a placeholder that might be scaled back? The entry is labelled QUADRISE FUELS INT PROVISIONAL EXCESS SHARES. The word 'provisional' is either because the shares haven't been admitted yet, or maybe the allocation is not yet finalised. I dunno.

Yeah, big ouch in my case. Though not as big as some poor souls who went all in. SXX though needed massive financing just to keep the lights on and then complete the mine before first revenue, and the BoD got the numbers wrong.

T11:41 TBH I don't sleep that well and some of that is down to my AIM decisions! I did the best thing for me and sold half on the spike at 1.65 so now I'm on a free ride. But I made a mistake haha. I should have sold ALL and bought back today. But hindsight is a wonderful thing and my strategy was reduce risk while maintaining exposure to the drill results. I won't beat myself up too much about it - still in a decent position now after years of being underwater. GL ash69!

Hey, no worries. I wonder if it may be too early to draw any conclusions from the cash being taken. I suspect they may take it all and then refund what isn't spent. I can't be sure on that though - my last OO experience was with SXX and I tried to forget that bitter experience!!!

Sorry for another post, but checking the Open Offer details it says:

"If you choose to exercise your excess entitlement shares, the new shares are expected to be credited on or around 23 March 2021."

It said the same date for the basic entitlement but they've turned up it seems, so goodness knows what's gone on there.

Also, the cash I left ready to purchase any excess has been taken - but I presume that's not an indication that I'll actually get any excess shares.
