LSE quoted spread is often not accurate (for many stocks not just Alba). If you want to know the real spread try some dummy trades.

Yeah, looks pretty good. I've been trying to work out how this years financial results might look but it's difficult with only very limited historical financial data to work from. Previously reported years have seen losses (naturally), with some debt on the balance sheet as well. I wouldn't expect much in the way of profit this year due to heavy investment in marketing and generally growing the company. Overall though it seems fairly healthy at this stage. Interested to hear others views.

These threads are pointless - and not even fun any more. :-( Everyone should know by now that EUA is so unpredictable. I dunno about you but it's not good for my sanity to be hoping for RNSes every day. It gets seriously wearing. Just got to be patient and trust in my investment choices.

That's easy to understand, now. He was never a hero in the first place. It was a facade. So in actuality, the journey from hero to zero was a very short journey as he started at zero, and never moved. We just didn't realise it until later.

The mention of HEMO rang a bell. Searched my notes and it turns out I did some preliminary research on it back in the spring/summer while looking for investment targets. Normally I write a few lines if a company has potential for follow-up. My notes for HEMO were, and I quote:

"HEMO - AVOID!!!"

Made me chuckle.

This should be obvious but shares held in nominee accounts by institutions acting as agents for individuals do not count as institional investors, because they are not investing, their clients are. They are merely facilitating parties in a transaction.

The reason that genuine institutional investment is so notable, is that it is made after analysts have done detailed due diligence - so providing a measure of professional confidence in a company. They often have access to info, or people, that the retail investor does not. They undertake an assessment of a company in keeping with the large amounts of money that they invest. This is totally separate to nominee share holdings, purchased mostly by amateurs, who may do little to no serious research.

What a load of nonsense. Those valuations are way too low. Technical analysis cannot be sensibly applied to companies that are heavily event driven and have no track record of revenue and profit.

I agree it's not dead. It's probably better summarised, being cautious, as significantly at risk at this point. The degree to which depends upon the detail of the management restructure and the views/priorities, etc of those who are coming in. Of course, we don't know that detail so there could be no issue other than a delay. Or it could lead to a total halt. If anyone can fill in the blanks to narrow down that range of uncertain outcomes I'd be interested to hear it.

This was asked at the AGM and my interpretation of the reply is that KSA didn't ask for the meeting as such. An existing KSA contact moved into new role and after QR promoted their offering they agreed to a meeting to find out more. Sounds like a re-presentation of potential opportunities to me. I.e. exploration and fact finding that may lead to something or nothing, but not explicitly a strong demand at this time.

Morocco trial seems to be on very shaky ground.
