I think they're good till about Autumn, SG. As far as I can see, if there's a deal, there will be no raise, bar perhaps an II or external investor bringing some cash flow, in order to "build" the new laboratory.

The new lab is particularly exciting, as they'll be able to develop multiple in-house drugs, in addition to providing a pay-per-service offering, which will cover overheads.

SARs deal with Sierra is potentially worth similar to 201, if 201 has a couple of indications. SAR also have a good run at an IND candidate; and good look to them in doing that.

We are preparing an IND package for 301, plus we now have 3 lead optimised candidates at early stage.

We are also building a further source of income; via a contract lab.

A few short weeks ago, the SAR MCap was what; over 200M?

Ours is less than 10% of that, about 17, last time I looked.

There's some good and bad biotech investments; I'll grant you that. But "risky" wouldn't enter my head with VAL.

I could've had a field day at your end, with your first in class pre INDs, HNWI Paul Daniels acts, and the 279 pages of safety posts, without one single person having a remote clue about what a tox report actually is, and how they're finalised :-). The way I see it; if a biotech stock does well, the whole group benefits, as it generally filters out. So we should really want each other to do well shouldn't we? It isn't a football match. All IMHO of course.

Having mulled this over, as I see it, I'd rather have a CEO who's only arguable "fault", if you want to say that, is that she can be overly optimistic (and who still pays herself a pittance btw), than an absolute bull schiting shyster, who doesn't ever have the balls to ever engage with shareholders, to give a full account of themselves.

That, combined with our absolute poxy MCap, mean that we've dropped a few pence only, as a few toys are thrown.

It would appear that VAL, along with others, are having to prove no Russian involvement in the Company, which I can't see as a major obstacle, so it's a hold for me.

That's my understanding Novice. VAL would've set the "long stop date", and then I'd imagine it is up to them, so I do think that VAL do have some control over this. If the date is not met, then I would imagine that Theorem would have to give some form of guarantee as to new timings.

My opinion is that this should be relayed to the SHs, and that this would mitigate any fallout, which could otherwise be fairly brutal.

I'm also of the opinion, working in these circles, that Theorem, whilst not professionally having to care about our SP, should do the decent thing, with a mind that we are a small and relatively volatile company, in trying their very best to "do us any favours". I regularly do this for my colleagues and customers, and they are no different.

Playing with a helpful and straight bat is always a good sign of a long and fruitful collaboration in my experience.

All that being said, Suzy is a good judge of character, and I still think she'll deliver on her statement.

Porky; raising for wages/lifestyle is something that the 201 deal/consultancy fees should abrogate.

That's a very separate arena to raising for lab investment, which I do think is likely. I do think they will raise for lab investment, but I also think this will be done via a third party, not by us dipping our hands.

I'm very comfortable with that, as an II investment of XMil, under the expertise of the SAB, is likely to translate to a lab "value" of XXMil, in my judgement; possibly even more than our MCap as it stood earlier this week. Never been a better time to do it.

So there's consultancy, lab, and product sources of income going forward. It's a great plan.

My point, as you're a nuanced fella, is that "raising" is a term batted about often here, without the above context. I think it important to distinguish the two facets.

The fact is that, unless there some absolute fundamental disaster, this deal is going to happen. I hope for the Company's sake, it is before the self-imposed deadline, but nonetheless it's happening.

You don't set trials up unless it's happening. The fact that they've wanted to lay this logistical groundwork first says to me that, although there has been a delay, once signed over, we're going to see good movement.

In retrospect, an RNS Letter of Intent, stating an undisclosed US pharma development company, with a 6 month logistical trial arrangement, requiring a full Phase 2b funding allocation, with 50M per indication, a cap of 4/5 indications, and full funding of ongoing consultancy costs, would have suited us nicely. Yes, we'd have grumbled at the "undisclosed" bit, but I think this would have seen us sitting at 75p now, with the introduction of new assets keeping the SP stable.

As repetitive as some of Southern's posts have been, he's only relaying what a lot of potential retail SHs are thinking. The capability issue is still very real, despite, I think, a very broad acknowledgement that Suzy has absolute personal integrity, and I don't think I'm alone in giving her and the team the highest level of trust.

I'm just writing this last bit, in the hope that if I do, it won't happen; to Southern and Porky in particular. Although the upfront payments were/are relatively modest, this deal secures funding sufficient to cover a very long period of overhead costs, by which time the new lab will be able to clear the runway costs for the foreseeable. This has been stated. So when the deal does arrive, if anyone bleats "yes, but they are going to raise for wages anyway", then they have a fairly explicit ulterior motive.

It is a squeaky bum time for many. I get that. But is is exceptionally happy days, and the strongest buy for me in the pharma market, when that contract is signed, because the ultimate impact of Suzy's signature on that goes well beyond 201 itself.

If they spent 5 mil on some kit and a few technicians, they'd have a company value of the current MCap, plus the 5 mil, easy. Essentially all drugs in for free.

At this stage, it ain't dilly dallying, though, is it.

By all means, castigate if we are still here at the 31st. As my dad used to do to me, they'll get a firmly raised eyebrow from me, too, at that stage.

But let them have the timescale that they have given us first.

In any case, 201 is virtually priced out now, so now need to wet the bed quite yet.

I've continued to add sub-30 OB. Not wanting to influence others, but they'll get a TR-1 if they sign the deal, as long-stop time-scale specified. You can hold me to that. They aren't going to raise for overheads after that, and name me one other AIM listing that will say the same.

I doubt many could handle the caveats of the 201 peptide (patent and formulation issues). I feel it's the very best fit for 201. I don't know how the hell Suzy found these guys, but they honestly tick all the boxes. Obviously, as long as they do sign the contract! If they can nail the patent and formulation, the royalty (guess circa 7%) becomes much more attractive, than otherwise would have been.

Now, legacy stuff aside, the new compounds will be the 10M upfronters, with 000 milestone tags. No caveats, and no "baggage".

There's another thing. I've spoken to Suzy-enough to know that she knows how to develop drugs. She knows what to do at every stage, and how to maximise potential. She's not afraid to offload and focus elsewhere either, which can be just as important.

I see many contracts being signed this year, and that will only see us up. When the deal is signed, make a note of the SP, because it ain't ever going back there.

There's only one thing round here that's slow to dry out, old sport.
