It's actually "Professor", if you'd do me the courtesy pal.
Lot of posting effort, Cobalt, for someone with a self-proclaimed "small holding". The motivation, for whatever reason, must be strong.
Wouldn't want to be out to be honest, for when the next news lands.
HD; VAL301: I would expect an update in Q3 or Q4.
The Japanese are still interested. Whether some issues need to be ironed out before they make a move or pass it back I don't know, but VAL themselves have done a lot of work with it in the interim, so news either way. Maybe it will go into an SPV. Theoremrx, I would wager, will have helped indirectly with it, so we may see a reformulation and/or new patent, bringing it into line with 201. I hope so.
Add it to the list of inflection points before year end.
OK - for 2.37, you'll need two indications for VAL201 trialled, TNBC KC sold at IND, and the peptidomimetic KRAS binder to get late stage preclinical.
Not impossible.
Or, KC TNBC is simply stunning and gets a 1B pound package, because it works in combination with, or prevents resistance to, something that Merck or AZ are already selling.
Yes; let's not forget about Stella. Suzy absolutely delighted with the appointment. Proven track record in MandA, notably in biotech.
Fantastic appointment.
PS - I've noticed that when times pick-up, that the worst intentioned start creating negative thread titles. It's a red flag.
Porky, Southern, Cobalt - guilty. We've had our bad days; you've had ample time to create mischief; but we are now getting to a stage when that's over. Hope you've enjoyed it, but, in my opinion, you've all called it wrong.
And now you're just looking rather silly and childish, if I'm honest.
If 201, 301, and KC TNBC fail, a raise will be needed in 15 months. I'd put that at 10% odds.
A lab acquisition will require a vote, unless one can currently be bought with 20M shares (I'd be surprised).
SHs can look at that prospectus at the time and decide if it is in their best interest, which it wouldn't be for me, at these low levels. It may be when we are higher.
If there's no lab, and the SP remains low, then in 12 months time, we'll have a good idea about the three new compounds. I have very high hopes for the KC TNBC drug. If the money's running out in a year, and we know it's going all the way, it has a 350-500M milestone deal calling for it. Who the hell isn't going to support a fundraise to see it through? I'll be ripping hands off to help fund that.
Simply put, it's 90% chance of a bright future. All IMO, DYOR etc.
I won't be at all surprised if the King's TNBC drug brings in both significant interest and investment within that timeframe, Novice.
Oh come on Porky. I know you're prone to exaggerate, but you're being too obvious now.
The Directors can realise 50% of their options when the SP is 30p, with the remaining 50% at 40p, based on the 20 Day VWAP. Employees and new staff will have a lower threshold of 50% at 25p.
One consultant is essentially getting paid in shares, rather than taking a salary.
The 30p-40p range covers the vast majority (in fact all the ones I know) of people's averages for shares bought over the last two years.
These terms, in my opinion, are more than fair; the BOD were extremely open to dialogue and adjustment with them; and I fully support them.
Iceman; no one will be pushing harder than me, come the end of the month. Except, believe it or not, Suzy.
I think they are going to deliver on this. And then we have a totally different outlook.
We are talking a total game changer in this scenario.
I've said it several times. If they can shift 201, then they can, with ease, shift something novel and niche with an 18 year patent.
Porky - no it doesn't.
However; you're a business man. If you wanted a loan from two competing banks, and you were buying 5 houses, of which one was only known about, would you want the other house owners to know what you were borrowing? Or the banks to know the opposing lending conditions? No, you wouldn't.
Now me personally; as I've said before; I don't think it is beyond the wit of man to have come up with something visible and, for SHs, stabilising. However, to also be fair, although it's not an excuse for the BOD, the above is likely their current agreement.
What is evident to me is that the BOD maybe didn't realise the actual size and scope of the planned range, nor were aware of the exact portfolio range that TX were aiming for.
Maybe we were the first in a long line of DD.
It is clear to me that, in addition to funding, the number of other compounds sought (which may have been investor driven - e.g. "please also get us one in Phase 2b") has required a fair bit of work.
The issue will be pressed in the next weeks, don't worry, but I doubt that this is all about seed funding.
Time is up.
Here's the answer:
If I wanted to get rid of the BOD, I'd be on my knees - absolutely begging - for you to stop posting.
You paint the most horrific picture of "the alternative".
They do not have the headroom for 90M shares.
Another fabrication, George. Like the LOI and CRUK license "problems". Lies.
The funny thing is that you've posted way beyond the level where VAL could do something about it.
But they choose not to. Ask yourself why, mate?
Ask yourself why, every time you post here, you're doing the BOD a favour.
It's a grating, tiresome, and repetitive ditty, CB.
...And the song is cr@p, too
The price is down, but my mood isn't low.
And we're not in trouble deep. When you stop posting, CB, that's when we're in trouble, as you've turned bear.
You're right CB. Never going to get your 40p.
Cheerio.
Or, if you don't sell now, you're admitting that 40p is possible, you're bullish, and folk reading your posts would have to do so in light of that.
Are you selling, or are you bullish?
90M shares? Nope.
20M shares at 3p? I'll buy the lot fella. Be a bit bitter sweet that.
Where are your lifeboats heading, George? Is it to the promising biotech company that you immediately stepped into when ousted?
I'm guessing not, given that it took you 18 months to remove "COO, ValirX PLC" from your LinkedIn profile.
When good people leave companies, they excel, never look back, and aren't bitter.
I've know hundreds in the industry do this. About 98%.
Then there's the 2%.
It's ruining your life pal. Methinks it's time for you to take your own lifeboat, sail away, and enjoy life.
