The board members can chose to accept which info they deem as useful and apt. my view as an outsider is that you seem to have taken great offense to JTD posts re any tender documents which personally I do not understand. Anyhow I enjoy reading all info and I treat this board like a supermarket and take from it what I deem I need at the time. GLA personally I am expecting an RNS next week. Amerisur shareholders are falling over each other here in Bogota but the **** ups are immense the nightlife great . We have all doormen at he top hotels on 24 hour watch. But so far we have seen no GC or JW I think they are bunkered in and will not see the light of day until the rns for over 30p t/o is released. Think it is closer than further. Have to have a laugh. Cerveseria Gigante … fabulous burgers and craft beer that is fabulous. Loads of cars with blacked out windows and personalised plates. GTE39 SINO 39 OXY 39 and ONGC 39. Actually it is not a gamble on a takeover... it will not reduce massively if their was not one as we all know that this has been undervalued for sometime. But lets remember M and P bid 17p cash and shares without even looking at the books so common sense would say that once they have seen some figures they will give more as they have a greater in depth knowledge of the potential.. common sense would also presume they will not go in at highest intended offer on their initial bid. Common sense also suggests that other O and G companies are interested as when they did the deal with ongc they did not sell to the highest bidder but to the outfit they thought best suited their plans going forward. Common sense may dictate a slight delay in a T/O may occur as certain companies such as ongc may already have their plates full with other business that demands their immediate attention. I would say that certain analysts that know more than me such as the stifel valuation seem to value it a lot higher than current sp if memory serves me correctly34 - 37p. So if no deal occurs I do not think that it will drop as I believe we will be subject to a hostile bid and that in itself will cause the sp to bound northwards. That is a reason that I disagree with your comment that a sale is by no means a definite. I give reason for my opinions and yet when juxtapose gave you several reasons and good things that had come from this company. Perhaps if you ask the question and members take the time to respond you could at least try and reply to what they have stated. Otherwise you begin to look like you have an agenda with nothing to back it up. Like an empty vessel.

imo cpo5 is growth potential only if ongc choose to grow it whilst we have a 30% slice. I question if they will. That could then scupper us if it was to be our sole income stream having sold everything else. NO I would like a complete t/o as I am sure would many and the BOD need to consider Brexit and any potential upside or downside that could occur depending on when we get the Brexit departure.

I expect the sale to be for the whole company. I have no doubt following this report that the different acreage will be sold off to the company that offers the highest bid for each part. I presume that each interested party will put in bids for each of the differing blocks inclusive of the oba pipeline on the assumption that they are happy with just that part of the business for the price. Then I believe the company will be looking for a price offering off interested parties for the purchasing of amerisur a whole. Obviously if someone would like the "whole" they may need to beat the individual sum of purchase offers. Dependant on ease of sale and cost implications of whole sale compared to a split sale, the board then need to put the recommendations to the shareholders. Still see offers north of 30p but by how much is a finger in the air job. I believe that we stand a better chance getting $200 to $275million for CPO5. Pay it out in total as a special divi? But unsure if incurs tax to my knowledge but happy if anyone can advise if held in isa or sipp. My gut feeling is that this will be sold and amer will cease to exsist but the bod will get a price that if not accepted will lead to an aggressive take out at lower price. However this drop happens to coincide with the issuing of some share options at 31 pence which prior to the announcement would be 41p. This will be sold and remember even M&P where never going in at the highest bid first time of asking. I would be more interested in where we can meet up for a night of celebration. Birmingham curry house or London or Liverpool. Personally business could take me to all of them. Mind you would like 35+ as could justify the **** up. My preference is Liverpool but can do all three. Loving Boris for not grovelling to Europe and just ensuring a fair deal not even a special deal. Yes they are doing all they can and they will get a good price for the assets. Nice to see we sell all the 3rd party oil to shell and pleased that is now ramping up in H2 as will add to the income all very good and 6900bopd currently of our own and that is without sol1. Can anyone explain why Sol1 is on such a long hold possible reasoning....or maybe I missed it. Pleased that they gave a tribute to the contribution Dana Coffield had given. Nice touch and in memory of his efforts I am sure they will be securing best price and for the family that probably still hold Amerisur shares. I still say the BOD are better deal makers than operators and the acquisitions are like unpolished gems. Very polished in the hands of another operator.

calco and sol are drills were to my knowledge necessitated in part to stay within the licencing agreements made with Columbian Govt. Where has all the money gone? To my knowledge the agreement with oxy re 108 million went they paid for the first 4 wells or so but I am sure we had to match them for seismic costs so presuming that has been well under way and has no doubt used some capital. plus calco and sol 1 drill.
As others have pointed out GC says FSP is competitive and I reckon it is very much so. ONGC want to pick up our 30% for a bargain. However a bigger operator can afford more to play a delaying tactic game as they not only know the eventual worth is more than likely substantial but also that ongc nor the Columbian govt can allow continuing snails pace development. ONGC are at the table but like GC says this is a competitive process and if they are in Bogota over the next few weeks then I reckon they have an idea of the bids already and this is to thrash out a final deal. I disagree with deal being announced after NOV and believe it could be anytime in second half of September. I still believe a potential bidder will come in with a knockout take it or leave it deal around 35-40p mark and certainly 40p if the business is carved up. But time and costs are everything plus bod deal incentives no doubt. I have no issues and will continue to build a big stake here. I would say will a deal be done is like asking is the Pope religious. No fire works or damp squibs. But would expect the sp to rise on this rns as seems obvious as another poster says this was the last interims they will produce and I am sure they are correct.

Now that sounds like being assured that their are many interested parties in our med gel but we area running out of money so our negotiating is from a position of weakness. Happy not to have been swept along by the euphoria. Deja vue imho as is all the above. Research this and it appears to be on a rinse repeat cycle.
