reasons being that the board value the drug enisfenterine higher than anyone is even close to paying for it and that was obvious from the massive dilution of the previous global funding where a partner could have picked up a 50% share approx. for near peanuts. So that is why they are going it alone as they have no other course to take. They will probably have enough for phase 3 if they did not take the ridiculous salaries and bonuses that they have been doing and will no doubt continue to do next year. Nor if they tried to conserve cash instead of going on all the jollies to new York etc. So no doubting we shall see another dilution to help keep them in the lifestyle they are accustomed. The big one for me was that Kathleen Abbott Bannister who was their head medical officer left to go to GSK head of respiratory. At the AGM the chairman in a private discussion said they were devastated she had left and it is a trend that we have had way too many Chief medical officers resign. If it was as singing and dancing as they suggest chief med officers would want that on their CV. I remember 8 years ago Clive page and Michael walker said this was like" Daxas with bells and whistles" and Jan Anders Karlson for years said their would be "significant share holder value". Well let me remind everyone and any would be investors that this means we would need to be valued at £3 in new money to be level and we currently stand at 44p. Laughable unless you are invested with your own money. The only people who have done very well out of this is the management and employees. (Funnily enough this was a quote that CP or MW once made) Confusion 2 and myself often spoke of this remark as slightly concerning as no mention was made of the shareholders. maybe it was a slip of the tongue but it has held true. I have to say that the list of reasons it may succeed is easily surpassed in the last paragraphs of all the reasons it will potentially fail or live up to what they say currently and that list has grown over time. Alien invasion not on there just yet, nor the trolley lady with the cake and tea and coffee being kidnapped, as the receptionist was as no one ever answers the phone unless it is just my number that is blocked. LOL. Sad to say we need someone that actually has a will to commercialise this and who has the foresight and is suitably qualified to get the job done. All the above is my musings and opinion so suggest any would be investor is very thorough. GLA. Never thought we needed luck but on this share it is going to be required in spades.

everyone is happy on the board but as you are a newbie with single figure posts you just do not realise it. Hence I guess proper investors take exception to people that are poorly researched. But please keep posting as each post just further highlights the above. Sorry that you did not get in at the prices some of us did. However some are long term holders including big institutional investors that paid circa 26p so you need sometime to be mindful where such investors are coming from and hence why they would really require 30p rang to make it worth it. do not worry as you will learn as you go along as we have all done.;-)

Why will the market value it higher when it has no clue of the potential bids. The fact it raised on the M and P offer is indicative that your reasoning is flawed. I still say 30p to 50p. Why because somewhere in that range probably represents fair value for the buyer more than the seller until it gets to 50p which addresses the balance. This will not move unless their is a leak and I doubt that will happen as amer is a tight hole.

eland has final offer of £1.66 and believe that they are selling for £1.64 currently and buying for £1.65. So as you say similar percentage can be applied to our t/o sp when it arrives very soon imho.

Just want an all out bid to blast all others and feel it will be the definitive and final bid delivered definitely before end of the month but nearer than further. Loving the anticipation. The suspense. I guess just feels like Thriller-MJ.

No one really knows as we would need inside info. Howeveryou can try to make an educated guess from previous T/O examples of O and G companies and other factors. Applying the knowledge and experience to the time lines from the current FSP re Amerisur I feel latter end of this week an rns of sorts will be released and hoping it is a form 2.7. Sometimes it is how long is a piece of string. IStill say the longer the better as bids and potential counter bids are received. Question remains who is going to have hit the nail on the head with the winning bidder.

Yes totally concur re debt and how much would they save on the OBA alone. Or any other would be suitors for that matter. Have they not just spent recently 10.4 million on a share buy back? Do not now what the debt is currently as believe they cleared some notes also. Anyway another day closer and I trust JW and GC to get us a very good deal all things remaining equal.

interesting point you made re GTE but this financial year has been a pretty good one and they would hugely benefit buy purchasing a couple of items perhaps not cpo5. But they have bought a lot of shares back and there last quarter accounts made interesting reading. I believe we may be pleasantly surprised and I expect minimum30 top 50p. But the assets are potentially world class just like the English rugby team. I think many have underestimated the value of Amer.

RNS due and I for one will not be gambling. Opulentia, I remember cove as not long after I started investing in shares and I had a few, too few to mention butIt had two big O and G companies that pushed it higher than most thought and it may well happen here. I however believe that the stifel valuation is very accurate so between 37p risk and 67p un-risked. So in the words of Frank Sinatra. I'll state the case of which I'm certain, so my friends I'll say it clear for Amer, it is the final curtain. But will you miss the boat or be aboard of this I cannot be certain. But which ever you chose, my fellow investors I wish you well but I am in until the endgame...I'll do it my way.
