It has taken years for bpc to get to this point and we can join the party at a very exciting stage whilst also allowing the new company to become a producer and not just an explorer which it has been clear as day that posters have not realised how this hugely increases the negotiating power of bpc in getting a farm in for perseverance1. I cannot see how anyone cannot be excited by the super structure in the Bahamas. LK will be a vital addition to the team and his experience. What amazes me is that board members will actually blame LK for firstly being very astute.Secondly believe that LK has lost his marbles. like he says covid has changed business and why should he be prepared to stand still and see the sp retreat.Whilst LK has a position in the new company I shall remain firmly invested in the new company and this innovative and commercially sound move is the very reason I joined because LK is someone who walks the walk and not just talk the talk.He has delivered on all points so far and I believe he has accelerated along with BPC holders the chances of significant shareholders returns. Those that have such a negative need to wise up or just cancel you shorts. This gets my 110% backing . To answer others concerns. Yes perseverance has secured a sixth generation state of the art oil rig for the drill plus all associated works etc etc.

Willec just to say in response to one of your posts. Those that have bought in at 5p I firmly believe you will recover your money quicker with this partnership than without. For all the reasons I have previously stated. Also due to force majeure BPC have up until end of feb to middle of march to do the drill due to covid. I have to say I have feet in both camps and had more shares in bpc. I now as of buying a large amount on Friday have more in cerp. But I will firmly support the merger. Secondly it has to be noted how fickle investors are. One moment Leo is the saviour and the next the villain. He knows more about the company future funding or lack of and any issues re covid on operations. He has recommended this. I feel to not accept his wisdom is slightly churlish and if any investor feels that he would take a giant leap backwards when riches lie ahead then you are maybe less streetwise than you realise. My response would be that those peeps who feel this is a bad deal should probably be lowering their averages and make hay while the sun shines. Jim our big share holder is apparently in favour of it and whilst I hold only £35k over the two companies my votes will also be in favour. I know we all have views and welcome them but some of the personal stuff in posts prove that even with a crisis like covid some people have learnt nothing. I wish you all the best whatever your views but should the strengthening due to this partnership allow a farm in for perserverance1 to be strongly negotiated then both shareholders will be very quickly rewarded and it will be the quickest way to firstly financing further wells on the ex cerp acreage and those lth's getting to 5p plus. Average down peeps it is there to be had imo. More action less talking. Above all else money helps but health is essential so all stay safe. Totally mis informed to a point. They actually have till end of Feb to Middle March and even longer this is because a force majeure is in the contract and Covid falls under the event of a force majeure. As such the time that ever one has been in lockdown etc etc is added on to the end date of contract to drill thus extending the time. Hope this clears things up. I take it as an oversight and not scaremongering..

experience tells me that this sort of merger when it gets to the date. That it will be sitting at BPC 3.33p and cerp at 2.67p If anything it will generally be higher. Why because they want this passed so it will happen. Sorry seen it many times over several decades. Ever wonder why when a takeover always happens that the broker says £3 the sp sits at 1.40 and it goes for pennies above that because on matters like this the sp is largely correct . We will wait until Monday ;-)but reckon this will have gapped up.

Thanks for keeping it light hearted. I will simply say that Amerisur holders felt they were sold down the river to brokers value etc etc. But seriously tell me when a broker rarely gets it correctly. Amerisur was sold for less than an initial bid that they received in cash and shares for an all cash deal that many thought at approx. 19p was about 20p short of where it should have been. So I say Good luck to you all and sorry for any long termers that are well out of pocket .But IMHO this will make more money short term and looking at the bpc rns so do other possibly more savy investors than myself. Perseverance that bpc will drill will be done before 31st of December as that is the time limit on the licence. A state of the art 6 generation rig has already been agreed from December 2020 so no ifs or buts on that one risky or otherwise.

just bought another 263.571 if I recall correctly a couple of minutes ago. Has the lockdown seriously impeded the thinking of investors. This seriously reminds me of a time that a certain book maker was still offering odds after even showing the horse race. I only had £200 and promptly placed it on at 6to 5 on and it took the bet and I got paid out. I can see both of these continuing to rise tomorrow. If it drops I shall have to sell the family heirlooms to buy more. I have not sold my bpc just in case the merger does not go ahead. But I think it is a given that it will. I appreciate your move makes total sense. I have to say when I joined this board thought a lot of intelligent investors but they just cannot calculate. I feel we should be wearing masks like dick turpin as whilst the prices remain we are laughing all the way to the bank and you know as the merger gets closer and closer bpc will go over 3.33p and cerp will have made ground to be close at 2.67p and yet intelligent people cannot see it.
