Science and Technology Minister Ofir Akunis on Thursday (Israel time) said they were just a few weeks away from having it ready.

"I am confident there will be further rapid progress, enabling us to provide a needed response to the grave global COVID-19 threat," he said, The Jerusalem Post reported.

The potential vaccine is being developed at the Galilee Research Institute. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu ordered scientists to work on a vaccine in the first week of February, the Times of Israel reported.

The scientists stumbled upon the potential vaccine by "pure luck", biotechnologist Chen Katz told The Jerusalem Post.

They had been working on a vaccine for a particular bronchitis virus that affects poultry for years before the COVID-19 outbreak started. When the COVID-19 genome was sequenced, they noticed it was very similar to that belonging to the disease they were already working on.

"All we need to do is adjust the system to the new sequence," said Dr Katz. "We are in the middle of this process, and hopefully in a few weeks we will have the vaccine in our hands. Yes, in a few weeks, if it all works, we would have a vaccine to prevent coronavirus."

I’ve had my thinking cap on, and come to the conclusion that someone needs a stern talking to.

My shares are worth peanuts.....cos I shelled out too much for them..!!!

This thread is all very Sketchy to me....!

Afraid to say, still no response from CGH, what a shower.

Just had a look at the website, only to find it’s not working/responding in any way.

No drop down list for different segments of info, that were there before. No response to clicking main page.

Wonder if it’s getting ready for the Contango reverse takeover?

Good morning Hannah,

Sorry to disturb you again, but I thought I would let you know that despite your assistance in contacting CGH for me, and nearly a week of waiting, they still haven’t given me the courtesy of a response.

I wondered why they asked for my holding details, and surmised:

1: They wanted to know if I was actually a shareholder, fare enough.

2: They wanted to know if the size of my holding was large enough to see if it warranted a response.

3: Small enough to ignore.

I’ve come to the conclusion that number 3 won out.

OK, my holding of 1.1+ million shares, at a cost of £8k+ is probably chicken feed to them, but quite a significant amount to me, and should still warrant consideration.

I didn’t want or expect anything considered inside information, just some Idea as to what our companies position was, after three years plus of being delisted, and in view of the RNS’s issued by Contango Holdings.

What a deplorable way to treat their shareholder, not even courteous enough to acknowledge receipt of my correspondence.

Regarding their enquiry as to my holdings, it may just be to ensure/confirm I was entitled to receive any reply/information............OR, they may have wanted to see the size of my holding, to see whether it’s big enough to warrant a response, or small enough to just ignore it.

Hannah has been very helpful in getting my message to the company, but I’m not going to hold my breath until I get a response.

I’ll post anything I get, or if I get nothing at all............. GLA shareholders.
