I know through experience, after numerous attempts to communicate with the bod.

Despite numerous attempts to contact the board, CGH never responded.

I have 1.1+ million shares costing just shy of £8.5k, held in my HL account. I’ve had no word of this alleged offer via HL (via their messages facility)

So if the offer is genuine, it seems as if they want to get rid of the smaller investors on the cheap, and keep any/all of cash generated via the CGO shares. What a despicable bunch they are. !!!

Our role

I thought it would be helpful for me to explain our role. We’re tasked with regulating the UK’s financial markets as a whole and this means we’re unable to investigate or intervene on individual cases, as we don’t have dispute resolution powers for individual complaints. These powers are held by the Financial Ombudsman Service. What we can do is provide guidance regarding any relevant rules an authorised firm should be adhering to and the options you have available to try and resolve any issues.

As London Stock Exchange regulate the AIM market I I would suggest you contact them to see if they are able to provide you with any further information and guidance on this matter. You can find their contact details here.

Maybe a bit naive of me, but Hey ho, sent this to FCA this afternoon:
SBLM delisted from the AIM on 17/10/16 and became CGH.
Since delisting there has been no communications with its shareholders, despite selling off company assets, eg coal mining in Zimbabwe to Contango Holdings (CGO)

The SBLM website originally showed contact details for investors to use but never responded. They then changed the site to reflect the new company name, but it contains no contact details whatsoever. I have through various channels, managed to send emails, but have had no response.

I know CGH are registered in the Virgin Islands or somewhere similar, and probably outside the jurisdiction of the FCA, but are you able to supply anything that would assist the shareholders to make them respect us.

I’ve checked my HL account several times, and haven’t had any word from them regarding any corporate action needed for an equity fundraising by CGH.

Mine were in an ISA with HL, as soon as they delisted, the share lost the ISA protection and were moved into, and remain in a share dealing account .

I’ve tried many correspondence routes to get the CGH bod to update their pi’s, but to no avail.

Disgraceful, disregard of shareholders interests.

Wonder if our BOD will have the decency to inform us about the CGO deal.

I won’t hold my breath.......What a disgraceful way to treat your shareholders.

Well, well:

Application has been made to the London Stock Exchange to lift the current suspension of Path's ordinary shares and for the New Ordinary Shares to be admitted to the standard segment of the Official List and to trading on the Main Market; it is expected that Admission of the New Ordinary Shares will take place and that trading will recommence in the Company's ordinary shares at or around 8:00 a.m. on 23 June 2020.
