I tried a large HL purchase late yesterday afternoon and could only get a quote for 25% of ask. Any relevance?

Also in view of the obvious possibility of a very large capital gain with this type of investment it is advisable to shelter from tax liabilities by holding within an ISA wrapper.

Back to logic and common sense! Obviously using the "beast" has it's limitations being dependent on the presented geology etc. on thier lease. One would assume that any drill length problems could be accommodated on our lease. All up in the air, but it's sometimes nice to dream.

Well I'm not completely loosing the plot, I also recall, a lease purchase being questioned, and the only logical reason (perhaps me) was that it completely closed down access to leases, which prompted DJW's comment. However the State of Alaskas decision to in the first instance build the infrastructure for a domestic gas supply. Obviously this means we now have a near term market for said gas. Long term to create jobs, they intend to construct a 42" gas pipeline following TAPS to facilitate LPG and Hydrogen production to export to the world markets. Near term consideration is being given to wellhead hydrogen production to road tankers or using the Russian model using icebreaker tankers.
Realistically it all boils down to do you want to make a quick buck! And have future regrets, or leave a legacy for your offspring
