One could question what relevance is that to 88e, but as alluded to in the past major oil producers business models are decades. So they can be looking at an asset to sit on and use 50 years down the line.

In respect of 88e I can never understand the obsession with an RNS, from day one DJW has always informed us of the expected drills timescale. Common sense dictates that drilling for oil is a very complex procedure, so this needs to be factored into any estimate given. DJW has demonstrated in the past that he addresses such issues.
So what relevance does knowing that the drill has progressed 200 ft yesterday.
