APBunny - If Theresa May cannot get through the vote against the amendments and brexit is 'watered down' then she will be forced to resign under a vote of no confidence. This could have a profound effect on the markets.

LS - Problem is without news the floppy market will drive GLEN. The BoD need to get something out there or something resolved. This is keeping us below 400.

Not sure if 'Alarming' is the term. Currently down 0.4% and still above 3.2 which is the highest it's been for ages. GLEN is geared against the FTSE 100 (at the moment) so the algos have adjusted the price accordingly. FTSE is soft today (again not alarmingly) due to the uncertainty around the Brexit talks. Let's put the hysterics aside please.

Miners are generally having a good day. Friday was a silly oversold sort of day, so I think the universal gods of trading have kind of restored balance.

ifonly - they do. I generally concentrate on the stuff outside the algos. It depends on what they are geared too. More often than not it's a combo of FTSE / Copper / Crude / � Today didn't make much sense. I've seen far worse market days where GLEN has barely budged. It appears there has been quite a bit of manipulation across the board on many other stocks, especially mining. The UT tonight was a total joke again. It appears that the algorithm just picks the lowest number and parks it there.

Not much rhyme or reason today just DTs messing around with the price combined with some friday softening. Unless someone drops a clanger at the G7 hopefully normal upward service will be resumed on Monday. Miners are getting hammered today.
