The drops are short lived as the Ai then tries to buy back in a rising market

all this seems now common place i nthe last 18 months more and more, bigger reactions to drops and rises.

Buy catch a drop you have free shares.

Agree i hold 60k units now and always reducing my RR holdings.

SP is already £2.84, I do like AI trading and over reactions. means you can buy cheap stocks in AI auto panic selling.

I am up a lot on IAG anyway but I do still see a 50% rise from here in 12 months. but anything over 15% is fine.

RR would have to be £10 just for a 25% rise. I feel IAG is better value for money.

I went another £30k in at £2.78 i will always buy these sub £3

As we know AI sell offs are over done now days, a 4% drop is always worth a buy in, free money

10p would be nice it's 32p last week it was 80p odd.

makes no sense to me these bigger moves.

Agree Stamp duty kills the UK for small trades and RR is a tough one to buy and sell and , so why fiddle.

Look at today ok till 8.30 and FTSE all up, then 11.5p off for what seems no reason, AI trading has killed day trading imo.

but thats still not enough margin to buy and sell it's 1.4% and here we are about to go sub £8 again, it's like Ai bots just panic sell, cannot be humans.

plus you still pay tax so really no gain there and i would bet you have put the £20k pa in already.

a lot of us are in the **** regarding this as who has all that money in isa's

i had rr in sipps and isa, but still have a £280k gain in a normal fund account. nice problem to have but ffs the £3k limit pa is a **** take now, £12k was fine. take me 76 years to take £3k pa profit out and thats with zero gains !!!

i guess the tax man will get a lot of rr cgt of every one.

I sold some at £8.02 just to say I got over £8 on some, £20k worth. a 637% gain...:-) wow.

The SP drops more than the div 95% of the time

9 out of ten times , you are better off selling the day before divi day if any thing and buying back the drop.

I actually don't like divi stock, seems a scam lol I like gains over divs myself.

I did buy £30k more at £2.81 shocked to see it below £3 really.

I still see this at £4.50 in 12 months so a slow burner now.

It's a dvi stock not an investment stock. depends what age you are.

I hold these to get the 9.2% div. not for the SP gains.

Must be ai trading these days, any smell of a drop and is sell sell sell, can only be AI selling up.

I have been out all day wondered why my account is £40k down, now I know why, bit of a shock when there is no news any where why it's dropped 50p .

Not sure why people sell a rising share on a dip day ! odd

Last 12 months IAG up 138%

Any one who says it's a crap share is a **** it's outperforming RR now days.

it does not do that at all, as the divi is too low, but it does make the big pension funds buy in.

If you are 70+ you what a share like L&G really.

Not really, as RR is a UK share they can sell and buy in UK time, the FTSE is a world wide market open to every one to buy and sell in the UK time window. They can sell now if they wish. Like I can buy nvidia at 8pm at night after the UK markets closed but I cannot buy now as their market is closed.

With a few broker increases the RR will keep going up now, £8.50 is doable in a small time frame really. It's amazing to be part of it.

It's a strange one as I did sell a lot of RR and in fact up more than keeping my RR shares even after yesterday in the last 12 months.

Don;t get me wrong I still have 1/2 a mill in RR but IAG vs RR, RR last 12 months even after the 2 days wins up 102%

IAG the last 12 months up 130%

So atm my gamble paid off even with that massive win on RR yesterday and a bit more today.

I said a year ago it's easier to double your money on IAG vs RR and every one laughed me out the room.

Again long term i am 600% up on RR but some times you have to look at the bigger picture and to double up from £3.70 to £7.40 is a tough ask , but we did it :-) , but a the time to double up from IAG at £1.50 was only £3 on a share which imo will hit £4.50 easy.

look at today RR £7.41 to make 25% more it needs to be £9.26 !!!

IAG at £3.53 to make 25% needs to £4.41

So again in 2025 I think IAG will outclass RR that will be 2 years in a row.

Scalp the dividend. lol
