3% up lol

1ST August it was £10.78 lets see where we are 1st Sept. or last day of July was >£11. I know what a month is and it's def not up 3% in August lol.

if i were 76 i would just hold 50% in lgen and get the 8.5% div. and have 3 years of wages in atom banks 4.4% easy access.

at 76 i would not want any share holdings that's for sure. any hit and you don't out live a recovery !

i am 55 and spending my money already ! i hate investing, the older i get the more i hate it. i am well ****ed i did not sell my sipp ones at £11.(i did sell a lot though)

i am not after big growth at 55 years old, what i don't want is big drops in retirement. i can take a 20% pot hit and pay myself but it never feels nice.

I expected a rise yesterday after the 2 BIG days of drops before it, that drop was very telling when the FTSE hits mega highs and BAE were also up.

YET RR drops again. I did call it at £10.40 remember. SMR are 10 years a way so that's just daft and we saw NO GAINS ON the SMR WIN and it will branch out to another company and another stock altogether I would say.

Atm RR is over valued imho. yes it will get there but any bads news sees drops as it IS over valued as it stands today.

Those are facts not " hysterical nonsense" RR share not bouncing back yesterday tells me all I need to know, there is less appetite now and too much forum hype :-)

I agree yesterday was very telling. I see the other 2 days before a drop on war news a thing, but yesterday should have been up, that's shows zero interest in this stock atm. And no recovery today. It might even end red by day end. It's not a happy Stock. When high prices are baked in early we do see BIG drops.

Floor should have been £10.40 but every thing was over done and it had downward momentum to go though it, It could stick at £10.40 now for a few weeks.

I don't see £10.50 by week end myself esp as today shows zero interest in volume buying. And if people get board more will sell sending back to £10, could go either way now short term. must be loads who have called it a day and took the 800% profit. I guess the only losers where the guys who bought in last Friday which was madness anyway. Looks like a load of people saw the small rise and again bailed out at £10.40 odd. BAE up 33p again today.

I have been scaling out, was close to selling all my SIPP ones at £11 but only sold a 1/3 will def sell all my sipp shares when they hit £11 again.

I really don't see 15% PA returns on this one now and it's too messy these days on the slightest news. even at 15% from this low that's a £12 target which feels iffy and was my out point . if RR don;t smash targets in Feb 26 this will drop like a stone to a point you cannot sell em for hours that day.

Rather keep adding to my M&S holdings. I'll still hold a lot of RR till they do fail to return 15% but I need to now sell 1/2 my holding from this point, it's massed to 46% (was higher but sold loads) of my pot which feels high risk esp seeing a £45k drop over 4 days and no great news today bar it did not crash another 30p.

IAG killing it still the last 12 months now with a 124% return so I did make a great choice moving 1/4 mil into those from RR.

Other people who are high weighted in RR must feel the same now ? I know some guys here are all in 100% in one share !

£12 feels a long way off now.

We just might be up and beating the div today which is nice.

FTSE is all time highs 9300 and >1%, up USA is actually in the blue atm, so it don't really make sense to me 3 days in a row these massive RR drops.

I'll be adding to the sales if it keeps dropping and running. all out at a tenner.

DId not think it would go sub £10.40 though esp as the FTSE is up 1% and BAE is up some thing else is not right, or people just panic and calling it a day who bought in at £1 and don;t like the drops 3 days in a row. 81p drop !!!!

ALso I only hold these in SIPPS and ISA's so cannot add any more money to these any way.

I made just over 18p a share last time selling before and buying a bit later so much better than the 15.2p div.

I don't add to my pot these days and don't normally re-invest my div's. welI do but on in the same company :-) or I buy some sweets with it.

I am neither of those :-) £30k is nothing, I was £150k down on the tarrif news.

lets screw your head back on and maybe think a little. We have had a 60p drop I hold 50k shares , do the VERY simple maths. 0.60x 50,000 = £30k

Was that too hard to get your head round ?

You might say it's not down as it's an on paper loss, but then I would say ok then I am not up with an ave of £1.06 as it's on paper gain !

As always have a pot of shares, I have 3 in the blue and 4 in the red.

Still £30k down on RR though ! happy to see some shares making money the last few days.

I also sold and bought back last time and was up plus keeps my ave down.

The thing with reinvesting the div is 1: most times you loose vs selling and buying back , and 2: it makes your ave look higher on paper which is daft but plays on my mind.

This time I cannot be arsed to sell any tonight, and tomorrow AM I'll prob kick myself and we will see a 10p drop ! and by the time the div money arrives I'll have to buy at even higher prices !

We will see I said I would buy more at £3.55 I just did that.

I did say £10.40 incoming yesterday.

Fender what did I say at 12.00 ? "Might see a pull back now , but I hope £3.55/.56 is the new base line to work from."

So it did that, pulled back to £3.56 on the nose as I said at 2pm and bounced off that base line like I said it should do.

classic charting story this one and as long as you can read charts and see the break out points and base lines it's quite a straight forward Share.

onwards and upwards, if you are waiting for sub £3.50 I would say it's gone unless we have a FTSE issue.

I have been very open with my buys and break out point's, you are still not buying ! just might see some day trading profit takers now the last 30 mins.

Might take a few goes now it's broken out £3.56 to get to the next point but looking great now.
