Member Info for retirment

I like BP but been in and out of them by luck at the right times, latest holding was at £3.45 and a nice 1/4 div. so I am keeping them.

All it takes is a RR plane to crash or the CEO to leave so you don't want to be all in on one share imo.

Back in the day I said on here 5 years ago "shall I go all in on RR" lol I would have 5 mil now, but the risks are daft, that time it would have paid off.

RR is growing, but we see it stall time and time again, WE will see £15 but when 2 years 3 years ? BP we will see £5. best to have a bit of it all.

Depends how old you are, I don't need the big growth stocks any more, it's nice to see it, but I don't need it.

I am big in M&S now so again I hold a few area's.

I was not in M&S as I was massive in RR at 78p with an ave of £1.02. so I am made for life already on that stock alone.

I sold a lot of RR to buy my biggest buy in M&S at £3.33 :-) while I'll not make what you say you have made on M&S I have made it and then some on RR and IAG. with >1000%. Enough for me to now not have to worry ever about money or work.

onwards and upwards for all M&S LTH and £5 :-)

I also bought RR at many prices, point is every thing has made money, the RR shares I sold at £11 which was a lot i bought M&S at £3.33

and Lgen for a 9.3% div. is what it is, why does it upset about 3 people on here, the same 3 people who say ignore but start threads about me and tell llies, and when I post up fact, they then get abusive and personal. That is a sign of losing a debate and trying to shift focus.

Mystic and Mark are total nutters :-) Mistic was slagging me of when I was buying IAG at £1.02 ! a share which is £3.81 today !

As I said 3 or 4 times can only be green eyes.

I had 75,000 shares at 106 AVe, them the facts., if you think that is a lie not a lot I can do.

I never give advice, I said why sell all of them when they are going up, better to scale out, I scaled a few out into M&S and atm that is working out better atm £ wise. I still have a large RR holding. the least I paid for M& S was £3.28 in fact, I thought it was £3.33.

I am very open so read it all and learn some thing or just press ignore and f4ck off.

Carrington i did not go all in, I even got some at £3.28, they are >£3.60 today so those are 10% up

Most of my shares were bought at £3.33 I posted when I got them on here.

So i'll take my 10% profit and not having to buy and sell, paying stamp duty every day of the week, over the daft things you have been doing which WAS LUCK.

No i did not hold then or buy at £4.11 !

I started to buy in small amount's at £3.68, got most of mine at £3.33 but did buy a few at 3.28p also.

I trade shares, The ones I sold at £11 I bought in M&S at £3.33, that's now 8% up RR is 5.5% up ! SO I have made more money scaling out into another share.

DO you need help trading or are you on the hype lazy train.

I would also bet I still hold more RR than you do. As I said nothing has back fired here, I don't have to work and was in RR at 78p upwards.

I was shocked people sold up "all out" , I said best to scale out, it's simple trading sense to me.

Carrington sold, he is now out of pocket if he wants to buy more it's that simple, but he did some man maths to make it sound like he did a great thing.

I did nothing and made more money. I don't get the gamble, he got very lucky this morning if he did buy at 8am on the nose at £3.53, but as he did not go all in, he's f4ckd up over all and now will have to buy at £3.60 , shares he sold at £3.57 !! plus his stamp duty costs !

bit of a fail all told and could have been worse, but he did have luck this morning on some buy backs.

It was up this morning and you have to pay stamp duty so you would pay more today even now.

SO thats just luck if you can buy back cheaper a few days later, but I only do this if I see 5% trends, 1 or 2 % is not worth the hassle or even the CGT if in a fund out of a TAX wrapper.

I am up on paper more than you buying and selling due to stamp duty ! and I sit on my arse just watching my money go up !

NotZero £ dropping any way vs the Euro so thats causing inflation already. 4% is too high now a drop yesteday would help.

UE has lower rates now they keep dropping them.

But the gov have to stop the water rates and high Council Tax's ! driving inflation up !

the last gov got it back to 2% remember.

PPS it seems New policies introduced by the Labour government have become the leading cause of food inflation. !!! idiots !

PS lets not forget we are getting 26% water rates rises ! which should NOT be allowed to happen

and higher Council TAX rises higher than inflation ! , these other 2 items increase inflation, and not related to interest rates either !

OK so we have high inflation since Labour got in, but it's driven by food in the main and public sector wage increases.

We have low Growth which needs a boost with lower inflation and we need more spending to raise more TAX's so lower mortgage rates.

Why then keep interest rates at 4% this will not drop the inflation rates !! I know it's their only tool, but imo they look a bunch of tools.

Added to that Labour keep giving the Public sector high wages rises to beat inflation !

imo dropping rates would be better than keeping them at 4% !

that would = lower Public sector wages rises lower mortgages for house owners , builders might want to build again etc etc.

saying we will keep rates at 4% because cheese has gone up seems a bit short sited to me when the UK is heading to the slums.

I would not have said anything on the sale, the only reason was, you keep saying sales are high, load uo, then the next day you sold, it was funny.

As i said looks like headless chicken mode to me selling a day after you said load up, and now you are at a lost to buy them back !
