I'm sure that Vonks is aware that everyday that we're not producing, its costing the company money.

Months of down time at Brockham is a lot of lost potential profit on the balance sheet.

Bergen are likely to hold a few shares back but in the main they will sell the vast majority.

It's bread and butter trading and income to them coupled with little risk and a guaranteed profit.

For Angus, it's two steps forward, one step back time.

Surrey County Council has approved the retention of the BR-X4 well, the regularisation of the BR-X4Z side-track, and the appraisal of BR-X4Z at the Brockham, it is clear that the three year approval time clock is now ticking.

The likelihood is that oil will be found and produced at Brockham in the early stages of the evaluation cycle and that production figures are likely to be inline (or greater than) those figures experienced at HH. I therefore fully expect that the Angus BoD will apply to the SCC for a full production licence at the site which will be well in advance of the expiry date of yesterdays approval (at least 1 year). In essence overlapping the existing three year approval to ensure continued production at the site.

This was hinted at by Councillor Mary Angell - Conservative at yesterdays SCC meeting. In effect and provided that Angus play ball, long term production at the site is more or less guaranteed.

From my notes today, I am of the opinion that the independent Councillor Ernest Mallett (MBE), should be stripped of his Royal honour.

Instead, he should be summoned and escorted back to the Palace where he would be awarded his Knighthood.

Don't you think that it's no coincidence that many of the people who are posing with the BOW banner, were the same people who voiced their opinion at the BOW Public Meeting held on 25 July 2018?

The photograph merely confirms that the Planning Meeting at Brockham was in fact a "set up" that was arranged by active BOW members to cause confusion and disruption before today's SCC Meeting.
