The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
So what are everyone’s thoughts for price movement over the next 2-3 months.
My belief is that the stemprinter cut off will be in around a month or so. I expect the share price to hit £4-5 between when the ATM finishes and up to the cutoff, afterwords for the share price to drop to around £3 before continuing a very slow and steady increase in comparison.
I could be completely wrong but I believe there will be a quite sizeable drop off post stemprinter. It’s what most folks on this forum seem to be waiting for. If it’s sold off then I expect the same with the ex-dividend date.
I am however REALLY excited to see how fast the rise is after the 31st July
Assuming that those who vote will be confirmed to receive shares in STEM, once I received the corporate action message, would I then be free to sell my Tils shares? I can see the price dropping significantly after the Stemprinter shares are confirmed and I’d rather sell off and buy back in 24-48hrs later.
I don’t know, I generally think that the next few weeks or so is going to be action packed for Tils. I’ve been waiting a couple of months just for this time to arrive. I’ll be in until the new year at least so I’m happ(ish) to buy in at whatever price. My average is still £1 at the moment but I know that price is long gone.
I’m just aware that I may have missed a steal of a price and will have to settle for a cheap price instead!
Im sure we’ll have a retrace mid morning tomorrow as usual but I think give or take 1%, the days of finishing in the red are over this month.
This rise is really bitter sweet for me. I plan on doubling my holding here over the next two weeks. 30% on 17th and the remainder on the 24th.
So I’m loving the rise but chomping at the bit since I can’t free up the money any faster. I was hoping for £1.15-1.25 but that ship has sailed. I’m guessing £1.55+ on Thursday and the skies the limit after that especially if that stemprinter update drops next week. Keeping my fingers crossed for a 13:30 rns on the 24th so I’m not paying 2.50+ for per share!
GLA
I think that this will follow the same pattern of late and slowly drift down until either the AGM or more news comes in. I’m calling mid 95-98p by the end of the week unless news lands about the split. I believe in the short term that’s what everyone is waiting for.
It makes no difference to me. I’ll be 25k deep by 11am tomorrow (big amount for me). When it gets to £4 I’ll be mortgage free on my home and it’ll be time for an upgrade.
Ok, I’ve finally made an account after shadowing this thread and others for a few months. I made some money on ASOS and other retail/airlines and then lost a chunk on Hemo. Buying in at 9 watching it fly up to the teens and then got our at 7 when I realised it wasn’t going to recover. I’ve been in here for a month or so at an average of .98, I topped up a little yesterday and will do so tomorrow. It’d be nice to get my average lower but tbh I don’t care. I genuinely think I can clear most of my mortgage from this stock alone by Easter at this rate.
