It also strikes me that the markets seem very subdued at the moment on Brexit fears.
ALM being invested in US stocks should not be effected, but maybe it is effecting everything a little.

I apologise if that is not your game. You do seem unduly nervous about ALM.
Is it the right investment for you ?
My opinion of ALM is like a lot of tech shares with no news they tend to fall.
I don't think there is anything sinister about it.
However, ALM has what a good set of tech investments and I believe it is valued at about half the estimated diluted cash raising value of it's holdings. I hope we will see a good return, but that will probably be in the medium term.
In the short term we could well see another IC (Simon Thomson) update at some point ...

Nothing strange here as normal NuckyT is trying to worry weak holders so he can buy their shares for a few pence cheaper.

However, looks like they are not bothered.

Looking at the trading update it was generally good news, but the share price is heading South.

The 5% free shares options for the management did not help, but the medium-long term should still reward the patient hopefully.

Markets are not entirely rational neither are human beings that provides opportunities to sometimes buy shares at a discount ..

Mmm I am long ULS and in for the long term, but not really surprised at the pull back today.
The market is short term in nature, thus fall in profit lots of speculators head for the market.

Added at just under 36p. Still believe this will reward the patient in the medium term and not just the pump-dumpers.

I thought the results were pretty reasonable given the Covid-19 crisis and at 216p a share they are not expensive IMO. The company should also come out of this crisis in better shape given its investment in Project Fusion and AdEPT Nebula platform.

However, maybe I should have waited for the stock to finish falling before buying.

Yes, Simon Thompson may be right I am not sure Investor's Champion position is correct.
I was a direct holder of Duke, but reduced my exposure to them on Investor's Champion article.
I remain an indirect holder of Duke as I hold Downing Strategic Micro I.T. which has a holding in Duke.

Investor's Champion gave DUKE bad press, they think several royalty partners are weak and are in need of finance.
Whilst I don't think Investor's Champion are idiots, are they really accurate in giving Duke a verbal drubbing.

However, several equity houses like Downing seem strong backers. Who is right ?
