60p support seems good today...

Don't know about retail bounce back, but share price bounce is big with BWNG. It appears to be heading for 60p, will this provide support today ?

It's a tricky one with these deals. Will it happen won't it happen.
I've traded this once to scalp a few pence.
Just sold half on the basis that these shares tend to be volatile although admit may be missing out if the deal is announced shortly.

I have to agree sold out last holding above 24p, bought them back below 24p today.
Time seem to be moving forward and the Covid vaccine rollout appears to be going well.
Buy price below NTA so worth an investment.
BoE putting measure in place for -ve interest rates sounds crazy to me.

The share price seems to be edging back to 60, interesting to see if it will break through to execute low 60s trading as it has been for the last few weeks.

Seems to me they are making the right moves with BWNG.
However, investors want instant results here and we are having more steady eddy improvements.

I've sold out 145.25p. Poor timing on my part.
However, feeling concerned about a possible US crash feeding into UK market falls so it seems prudent to hold some cash.
Hopefully it will never happen, but unfortunately crashes do happen.

I don't think BWNG is expensive on a single digit PE now, but really given transition in the company and a Covid backdrop I am looking to measure progress yearly from years 1 -3 from now.

Yes, it does affect weak holders, by getting them to sell you can play a small part in manipulating the price to your advantage.

I see that what you post is designed to get you your stated 57p entry price.
What you state is not entirely true. Shorts were about 4% back in October. They are now around 2%.
They have ticked up a tad in the last week, but the overall trend over the last 3 months is down.

It's a lot cheaper to buy this company at this stage than when everything is looking good.

They have continued to make profits. They are on a single digit PE.
Their revenues may have slumped as they rationalise their brands/web sites to cut operating costs.
They are cutting company debt.
It's not a bowl of cherries, but things are improving.

He sounds upbeat. The company has been backed by Kestrel who have 20%, but also backed them in a convertible loan.
The company IPO'ed I believe at £1 so given the sp has just recovered to the 40's the performance is disappointing.

However, if they continue to disappoint the funds led by Kestrel could seek management changes as together they have over 50% if they work together. I reserve judgement on how they do this year.

This company should be wining contracts so yes news is due, but could be any time.
Investors often pay more than they need to, why he waited to buy don't know, maybe he's just getting more enthusiastic about IQG. It's happening to me to, but I have enough shares for my modest portfolio...

With the target price a fair way above the share price I would have thought they would have made it a buy. Still quite a reasonable target price.

Does anyone take SimplyWall St seriously ?
