Thanks Panama - hope ur well - you’re quite right about Shaun and of course if (when?) we get to own Havieron, then the release of quality information (MRE’s, maybe even DFS and DTM) could all be in our hands. So I’m not too paranoid about Newmont’s Top 10 potentially adversely affecting us, but I am interested in other (quality) opinions, such as yours - thanks!!

Thanks MH01 - that’s interesting if it becomes true - what might happen to our SP if Newmont consider Havieron as one of the Top 10 they want to keep and conversely what if (despite what we all believe Havieron to be worth) Newmont don’t feel it’s a Top 10 opportunity - no doubt our SP will get hammered? I know it’s not long to wait till hitting the first ore and by then we might own 100% of Havieron (with Wyloo and the 3 big Banks) but how much damage might we have to swallow first? Don’t get me wrong I am a firm believer in Shaun, his BoD and our resources, but could Newmont effectively deliver us another body blow ( the last one when they walked from Ernest Giles took us down 70%). Hope I’m not opening the doors to the trolls, but would appreciate the views from our sensible Lther posters. Many thanks.

Sorry B1ll you are well wide of the mark on your statement at 11.52 am - I use the greenbin constantly to avoid reading from trolls or disrupters. Once greenbinned I can tell if that poster is still posting rubbish purely by the reaction of other posters who often point out the rubbish they are referring to. I do not need (nor bother) to unfilter someone to get a gist that they are still trying to cause damage, or still posting absolute rubbish. The reason I filter them is so that I do not waste time reading their rubbish, nor do I therefore respond to them directly, which is what they lay out their bait to try to achieve. Let them wither on the vine as without reaction, they are nothing. Just thought I would correct you.

Not wishing to brag SAS but I binned Toffers almost straightaway - as you know, they stick around the more people respond to them directly, or bite on their bait. I’ve reached a point in my life where I can’t be arxed with timewasters - good luck to you buddy I enjoy your posts (and delighted I no longer see Toffers et al!!!)

Hi Ragsrob - it’s funny for a short while and then you realise he is just here to prey on those seeing a downturn - lowest of the low. He’s in my greenbin for good!! Good luck to all here who are genuine shareholders.

Just to underline the type of poster Toffers is - EUA is down 22% today and Toffers has appeared there spreading his Fud - some posters simply seek out the vulnerable and stick their boot in when everyone is down. That’s why the greenbin is invaluable imho so that you don’t have to expose yourself to blatant Fudsters if you don’t want to and why would you? He remains firmly in my green bin!!!

Sounds about right The Beast - Toffers has in that time posted a load of Fud on the GGP Board and been called out by those in the know as to his track record. Best off greenbinning him and certainly not giving him the time to spread his Fud - imho!!!

Just to conclude, don’t forget that Newmont will know all about Havieron and any deadlines within their due diligence on Newcrest so it will all be agreed within the Board Rooms as to how Havieron should be advanced or not (I.E sold off).

Not sure of your point Matml but businesses normally operate on a “business as usual” basis whilst takeover negotiations take place, they don’t just down tools on a what if we are taken over basis. They might (just might) confer on big decisions during the takeover if it looks likely that the takeover is happening, but they will not normally renege on their responsibilities.

Come on Yellow - it’s not even been confirmed yet that Newmont will buy Newcrest. As it is we have one of the best CEO Communicators going in Shaun - give them a chance!!
