Hi Tiggerman - I am pleased when you said you are prepared to hang around a little longer, after all what’s 12 months when you (we) have done so many months already. The frustration in the SP shows in your posts and I can understand why - when I first invested (a sizeable pension via my SIPP) into GGP Newmont walked from Ernest Giles a month later and my SP plummeted by 75-80% then. Luckily I held firm and of course had I known 38p was going to be our ATH when I retired early, I may have taken out substantially more. But no, I have held firm and seen another 75-80% drop in the last 2.5 years. However, where we perhaps differ is that I am prepared to focus on the fundamentals not the SP so I try not to let the latter wind me up. Come 12 months time, if the SP is floundering after the DFS, DTM, ASX Listing and FCF then maybe I might allow my own frustration to surface. I write all this just because whatever we choose to write on a Board either illustrates positives or negatives. In truth we all know the biggest negative (the SP) so why bang on about it. I wish you luck whatever you do next but personally I prefer to read posts that pick out positives rather than read a load of negatives (as I know them all already and they are generally reflected in the crap SP anyway). Just my thoughts.

Thanks TT and well done Liam - my take on this valuable Q&A is that Shaun does value and respect all shareholders (PI’s as well as II’s) and just like a game of chess he has to use tactics and strategies to get the desired end game result. This is what he was brought in to do and the more I see/hear from him the more I am convinced that he deserves our support and understanding in this most difficult of times. VGLA true Greatlanders for what should be a transformational next 12 months imho!!!

Even if there is Dillon we will be unlikely to hear about it as Shaun and his BoD only need to put realistic offers to the shareholders, they can dismiss low ball offers at will. Your opinion is just that - your opinion.

Contrast this with how ASX will work when GGP joins it and you can see that there are “pros and cons” to both, but at least some clarity around the differences:-

ASX is a "matched" market unlike AIM, so every Sell has to have a matched Buy.

Hi Email - I think the initial concerns about whether it would hinder the investments people had made via UK ISA’s or SIPP’s - with reassurance discovered that neither should be adversely affected particularly as Shaun has said it would be a dual listing and hence AIM exchange will be retained, then I think concern switched to whether consolidation may occur. Some have a poor experience of consolidation where the SP increases by the same proportion that numbers of shares decreases but then the Company just use that to start equity raising (dilution) all over again. Shaun’s response to this has been that he sees consolidation as an option preferred on a rising SP (which of course we have not had for awhile now) but he has also said that (the leak about) capital raising is something they are not contemplating at the moment, but all options have to be considered in the future. So I think the constant drip downwards of the SP is being associated with joining ASX and folk are concerned Shaun will look after his Oz II’s and PI’s at the detriment to UK PI’s who have been here the longest and invested when GGP was truly in its infancy. I can understand all of that but my take is that IF Shaun is disingenuous his constant TH’s (where he flies to the UK to face up to UK PI’s) plus his very regular podcasts, Sunday Roasts, Tweets where he again takes on any and every PI question, must make him the “Master of the Disingenuous” if he then turns round and shafts us all. I personally do not read him like that and I just believe his focus is doing another Northern Star, only this time with him fully at the helm and he is seeking to make GGP a multi-billion asset and the SP to reward ALL shareholders (Oz or UK, PI or II) but of course only time will tell - and I fully understand where the nervousness comes from!! Sorry MattyBoy but anyone asking to be filtered must realise that their constant whinging on a bulletin board is a constant pain for others. The whinging should be directed at Shaun and his BoD only - surely you can appreciate that??

SharketMare - you interpreted my sentence incorrectly - I worked in FS for 45 years and rose to the position of Board Director of a major Bank. I did not bully T4G or anyone for that matter. I usually call out those who portray opinion as if they are fact, or are just deliberately misleading. If they continue then I usually greenbin rather than entering into protracted communication. I mentioned the link between low SP’s, AIM Shares and how juniors can disappear more often than make successes on AIM, but you chose to ignore that or didn’t understand it. I think we have wasted far too much time and space on this and whilst I dislike your ill advised assumptions, for everyone else’s benefit I suggest we leave it there - I will not be responding further.

SharketMare - your post 23.21pm last night shows you are applying a generality to II’s - I was referring to II’s that operate with due diligence committees (the majority) who are not sector specific. They have stringent risk aversion strategies and do not seek to invest in AIM Companies often and certainly not ones where the SP could be low and therefore could produce huge profits because as we all know (or perhaps you don’t) MOST AIM Companies do NOT hit huge success and can often wither and die. If you’re an Institution investing pension fund money or an Investment Manager seeking investor money, you do not risk an “all or nothing” ploy. I admit there are the likes of Wyloo as an Institution that is sector specific and look for diversification with a “small” part of their funds to support “juniors” they believe in - I was not referring to these. My final comment to you as I will not be communicating with you again is that I found your post last night every bit as rude and obnoxious as you accused me of posting to T4G - fyi I was a Board Director in Financial Services for 45 years working with Institutions/Investment Managers and Committees so dare say have forgotten more than you have ever read. I wish you luck in your investments but have no need,or spare time to waste in communicating further on this, or with you.

I merely suggested that Trading4Good’s post was a “touch mischievous” and was questioning why he comes on here (to sow unrest?) when he posts 80 times more often on BOO - if he is a genuine sort I will be the first to admit I may have misread his intentions, but I’ve been on LSE long enough to judge those that I think may be disingenuous!! As for the rest of your post you’re entitled to your opinion but due diligence committees do NOT gamble institution money so would often wait to see a more robust SP rather than a “tiny one” versus the blue chip shares they normally invest in. The very act of listing on ASX should in itself raise profile and therefore SP accordingly. As for 80p expected SP, that was not my prediction it was T4G who said he was downgrading from it, so ask him.
