This is a great thread sparked off by Zoros after reading Panama’s review of Bazza’s post and Matty and Ace then added to it. The part where Zoros concludes it is what Shaun is not telling us that’s the key, ties in exactly to what I believe - Shaun would not have been able to attract his experts (huge industry names) either onto his BoD/Team, or as backers (Wyloo - Twiggy Forrest) or as “flexible”Corporate Financiers (3 big Banks) by just selling them some “pie in the sky” big dream of his. No - there is much more that he is sharing with all of them AND that they can see/believe in to WANT to be part of, that in my mind makes GGP the place to be. This has so much excitement attached to it and with such huge players almost forming a consortium, who’s to say they haven’t all got round a table and decided that they could corner the gold market for decades to come via Australia, if they work together rather than in competition? Who knows, but something is firing imaginations of some real dyed in the wool experts for them to be taking some part in little old GGP IMHO!!! Good luck all true Greatlanders as this unfolds and it will!!!

There is no way Shaun assembled a Board full of experts in their field and leading names in the industry if he wasn’t going to “mix it with the big boys (and girls)”. This chess move is hugely strategic and tells the market Greatland are here to stay!! Go on Shaun, with you all the way!!

Yes there’s some good common sense coming out now from SMTP, McIlroy and JPTop amongst others - we kinda knew that there would be tough times to overcome, but I truly believe Shaun would not have surrounded himself with so many experts if he didn’t see that himself and I also believe those experts haven’t joined GGP out of the goodness of their heart. They see/know something that was too attractive not to get involved with at GGP and their gain is our gain. VGLA true Greatlanders 🥇

Hi Culpepper - Shortdata.co.uk shows all shorting movement and lists Companies where more than 0.50% shares have been shorted. I have been keeping an eye on this data to see if JPM or any other entity have been shorting bigger than 0.50% since I found this site about a year ago. As I mentioned JPM hasn’t budged since October 2022 when they slipped below the radar at 0.49% and my rationale is that they are renowned as the major shorting sharks, so I take it as a positive that they’re not the ones playing with GGP. Personally not bothered about other opportunistic shorters - just hope they get caught with their pants down soon!! 🔥🔥

Interesting whilst just over 19m shares added to the short list today, JPM have not apparently altered their shorting position on GGP. They remain below the 0.50% (at 0.49%) position that they reduced to back in October 22 and not budged since (as per Shortdata.co.uk). If we all view them as the “master” shorters perhaps they do not feel GGP is worth toying with at this time?? Any views on this anyone?

Come on Tig just accept that you can write what you want from yourself but stop trying to present yourself as everyone’s spokesperson - you’re certainly not mine.

Tiggerman - I think you’ve done this before where you have unilaterally decided to write off to GGP to register your displeasure with them. Whilst I may not agree with your approach (why not wait until a Town Hall and do it in person?) I do take exception when you use the term “we” as if you are talking on behalf of all GGP Shareholders - you are NOT and can I politely ask again that you make it clear that you are talking about “I” not “we” when you correspond with Shaun or his Team - thank you.
