Great post Denmarkian at 02.15 am - thanks - every 88er needs to read every word of this article to specify exactly where we stand with what the flow tests could mean for 88E and importantly our SP. Any sort of decent flow from Hickory which has already exceeded Rio’s Willow drill results and our SP will be hugely improved imho - have a read yourselves to see what you think:-

Hi Ben - don’t forget that Newcrest have Telfer running dry and to let it fester could cost them serious bucks, so I think whoever decides to mine at Hav - Newcrest, Newmont or us then Telfer will hopefully be the catalyst to prevent too lengthy a delay. Even large Corporates don’t like to waste millions just for the sake of it, when an easier solution makes more sense - AIMHO!!!

Wannabeloaded at 17.54pm - about the most sensible post I have read today - thank you. I am surprised and disappointed that the SP has reacted the way that it has today but this is AIM or OTC in the US and they are NOT regulated environments. However, as long as we do not get sold off cheaply by our BoD then I think the next 9-12 months could make all the difference to our SP. Yes we will need to prove commercial flow rates but the initial drill and confirmation of the wireline loggings give every chance that this time we have struck the black gold and remember, once found cannot be “unfound”. So patience (again) is required but this is the first time in our history that we are being patient over something that has already been proved up - we just now need to see how much and how commercial it will be. VGLA true 88ers - we have the PANRers worried and our funding position is much better than theirs, so ignore their white noise and focus on what we have up our sleeve IMVHO!!!

Joe - ffs - this is the best news we have ever had at 88E and it sounds like you’re the one trying to play it down. I think every true 88er has been so long suffering that we now deserve to enjoy the very good news we have had from the wireline logging that confirms better than expected results and that we now move to flow testing. If you’re a true 88er then enjoy that news!!!

Think you could be right Smokin as there is a noticeable drop off from trolls who would normally be deriding this share but perhaps even they concede that the prospects look very good for 88E this time around - hope so and very good luck to all true 88ers!!!

Question PK - did you learn anything from tuning in? Did you get views and opinions from those who know an awful lot more about GGP and its projects? Did you have to pay for any of the research and time spent by the presenters that went into delivering that information to you? Now how do you feel about criticising the delivery and if you still feel you are justified, then frankly you lack class - end of.

You are absolutely right Zoros - according to Shortdata JPM reduced their shorts to below 0.50% to 0.49% in October 2022 and made no further increases on shorting GGP since then (or else it would be immediately reported once they (or anyone else) exceed the 0.50% reporting criteria). Meanwhile over on GGPChat JC reports daily on the Ortex data that currently shows (as of today) that there are 76.19m shares out on loan which against 5bn GGP shares in issue represents just 1.45% (but again presumably with JPM holding 0.49% means there is no other “body” holding more than this singularly). Hence imho whoever is shorting GGP is probably a number of small (minded?) entities. Good luck to them in holding strong on this approach, as all it takes (imho) is an announcement on the M&A front that puts Hav front and centre and our SP could rocket again. Have a fab Easter everyone and keep hold of your golden tickets imho!!!

Hi Dai - in truth worked in Financial Services for over 40 years before I retired courtesy of Greatland Gold, so know all about pensions, ISA’s, investing and risk versus reward. Just hoping 88E will now be the real icing on the cake for all of us - VGLA.

Hi Dai - risk is relative - if £75k is a large proportion of someone’s pension pot then you’re right it’s a risky purchase. If the £75k is say less than 10% of someone’s pension pot, then it may be the portion they are happy to be adventurous with as they have 90% of their pot safe and sound. It is always “horses for courses” when it comes to investing money (pension pots or cash in hand). Good luck to you and us all.

Hi Dai - £75k sounds like a lot to buy 12.5m shares but this could easily be a transfer value of someone’s previous pension being switched into a SIPP and then 88E chosen as the place to invest (I.e. years of pension savings transferred out of an old scheme into a SIPP). This is of course just a guess.

Brilliantly put Abelo - like you I think Mac is unfairly sledged for what he tries to provide. As for PT he is well and truly binned and I can tell from the green boxes I’ve seen since, that he’s not happy about it and probably getting more and more desperate in his deramping!!!

Make your own mind up about this poster but he’s been on LSE since 31st March and in those 4/5 days has targeted 88E, GGP and EUA with pretty much all the same doom and gloom postings - imho just greenbin/filter him straightaway and definitely do not respond to him. Just a time waster imho!!!
