You’re right Tom - it is very unnerving and goes against common sense - I too am hoping that Shaun is visiting to explain an RNS that has delivered good news for our SP. I have said many a time that it is NOT Shaun’s job to manage the SP but there is a reality (as experienced by SB) that if shareholders feel consistently aggrieved then his job is not necessarily 100% safe. Don’t get me wrong I am not at the point where I am gunning forShaun, I actually believe he has done a fantastic job of establishing and consolidating us with an exceptional BoD put together as well. However, at some point we surely need to see his actions translating into an arrest of a sliding SP into one that is climbing. VGLA and keep the faith - we knew there would be twists and turns to our journey.

I agree Alans55 - I have also reported Martyman888 - that I am afraid is the level of individual who comes onto this Board to bad mouth 88E.
I commend others to report Martyman so that a stand is made against these kind of posts!!

How strange that we’ve heard nothing from Scot126 or Snoopdoggy this morning? If that doesn’t cement their troll status nothing does - they only come on here to sow doubt, fud and undermine 88ers. Now they have had bad news on PANR are we over on their Board sticking the knife in? If they had any decency they would now stay off our 88E Board for good.

Hi Chuffchuff - I agree with Doublehun about your post. It is refreshing to read an honest appraisal of a situation, after all why do you need to lie about still being out of pocket. However your sense in averaging down is exemplary and I wish you well in making what will be a well deserved profit. Lthers often get derided for still being in profit but the reality is, we stuck our necks out and invested when GGP could so easily have slipped into oblivion. I invested at 1.28p just to then see Newmont walk away and the SP plummet to 0.75p - not quite halved but close enough to scare the bejeezus out of some. I held on and like many others wish I sold some when we hit 37.5p - I had to sell some when we were down to 20p as I retired early off the back of my SIPP heavily weighted in GGP. None of us really know what the future will bring but like many other good (and cleverer) people than me the fundamentals cannot simply evaporate - so I wait to see them harvested in the best way Shaun and his now SuperBOD decide upon.
