Hi Bamps - hope ur well - I greenbinned Redtrader eons ago and don’t regret it one bit. I cannot commend highly enough how good it is to just read genuine posters thoughts and views and not get dragged down into the mire of the ill informed, uneducated trolls and fudsters - life’s great!!! Good luck to us this year - we need Shaun and his Team to be on top form for what’s ahead.
Hi Musk - glad you’ve found the filter button it will give you a completely new lease on life and power!! I take it from your 17.10 pm post that Goldwater tried to counter being filtered by calling me a paid ramper!! If that’s true I’m definitely not very good at my job as I’ve been on LSE since October 2016 and posting only on two Boards - here and GGP!! By the way, in addition to the filter button if you also click on a poster’s name it shows you their individual history and past posts, just in case you didn’t know that. All the best to you and to all true 88ers.
Hi Musk - Goldwater might be still here because he might get paid according to how many responses he elicits, or he may just get gratification when he gets people biting back at the traps he lays. If you put him in the greenbin he withers and fades away PLUS you don’t see the tripe that he’s writing which is good for your stress levels. Your choice but I would just greenbin him and his like!! Good luck to you Musk.
hi dh - personally don’t give a monkeys about wokeness - there’s right and wrong about anything/anyone. i’ve never been ******, sexist, ageist or any other-ist. yes i’m a tory voter but only because over the ages i’ve seen what a mess labour create and fact is they are still doing it in b’ham, london and wales. i know the tories have made a right hash of the majority government that boris created and i do feel that reform talks more sense than any of them, but to vote reform at this point only helps out labour. hey-ho apologies for the political diversion but it is budget day - let’s get back to the more important topic of ggp - good luck to us all!!!
I liked Shaun’s “laser focus” on everything having to be accretive for shareholders including doing all they can to raise the sp. This guy is unflappable and ready to play out every scenario as it comes. He did well to remind us all of all the other opportunities we have within our portfolio as well as Havieron. We have to rely on Shaun and his team to carve out the best path for us all, or you bale out whichever suits your risk/reward strategy and timeframe. Personally, I’m with Shaun until the fat lady sings - VGLA!!!
Hi Ace - I don’t disagree but I do think that Shaun therefore clarifies that his own ego doesn’t need bolstering with him trying to whitewash GGP’s past in favour of where we are now. He’s not trying to grab all the glory and it’s this kind of consideration that hopefully shows he will not forget us lowly PI’s?? Good luck buddy.
Two or three key takeaways for me from Shaun’s latest Sunday Roast - firstly the immense amount of credit he gave to Callum Baxter for finding Havieron after all this time of Shaun being in place - imho people don’t do that kind of thing unless they truly have it in their makeup to be considerate to others involved - this bodes well for PI’s without whom in investing in GGP in the early days, GGP wouldn’t now be on the cusp of becoming a full blown miner. Secondly, Shaun mentions Wyloo as financial backers and the Banks as debt lenders that will assist in the Telfer/Hav opportunity that GGP have access to - he does not mention equity raising at all and yet you would think he might do if he was laying down a pathway that he needs shareholder support on. Again bodes well for how he might be thinking of the package he needs to put together to purchase all of Hav and Telfer. Finally, I mentioned earlier today the clip from the Podcast where he not just smiles but laughs when asked if he is happy or desperately upset by Newmont’s announcement. The whole interview to me is very upbeat and positive and gives me a feel good expectation on what is to come. Fingers crossed Shaun and his Team (and us) get what we want asap.
