I agree with you Matt - GH was only conducting II Lunches last week so it's unlikely that the II's will have rushed back to their offices to invest straightaway. They will do due diligence and gain Board approval to invest if they see true value for money as a given. This next fortnight will hopefully see more II's enter the Greatland adventure - VGLA

Hi City - holding my nerve with you but the hard part is if (when) it gets to 10p how can you sell if the thought is it could carry on to 15p, 20p etc. A buy out takes all decision making away because otherwise my temptation will be to draw down an annual income and keep an ever increasing shareholding. My rationale is this will achieve ever increasing proving up until either bought out or until the share price reaches a very respectable minimum price of say 15p (c.1bn mcap) and therefore forms a secure base - what do you think??

No doubt we are entering the transformational period that all LTHers have been waiting for. I've been in since 2016 and never sold a single share. I will be in until we get the transformational news we deserve. We know the oil is there and PMO know to the tune of $23m invested to get it out. Had some great news yesterday on my only other current AIM investment and I see no reason why we won't get the same type of news here. VGLA to all LTHers it has been a thrill sharing this experience with you and I can feel great news coming!! - All IMHO!!

.....are releasing Half yearly Financial Results by podcast on 13th Feb - do we think that might shed more light on their link to GGP and Havieron? Sit tight folks we know we have the resource - just time now before it translates onto the SP - VGLA!!

Holding an Institutional Lunch in Sydney and Melbourne within a week of last night's results from NC is genius planning from GH - he is a man on a mission and not letting the grass grow whilst he has put GGP (Havieron) well and truly in the headlights. We are lucky to have GH and this BoD - VGLA !!!

Firstly congrats to all Greatlanders who held firm and had Newcrest results vindicate your (our) faith. However, the work starts now - this is no one day or one week miracle. To reap our real rewards will take a little longer and I fully expect 3-6 months as news translates into action before real SP value is achieved. The fun starts here and there will be hiccups and disappointing days when the SP underperforms, but hold firm and the now known resource will eventually convert into a really pleasing SP - good luck to all and thanks again Paddy for the real information that kept me sane and invested!!

As we zoomed past 2.56p this morning I realised that I have single bagged plus some (doubled my investment) since i originally invested at 1.28p average. Never sold a single share despite EG/Newmont debacle when I was heavily down. I am holding for gold and anything north of 15p sees me retired and very very happy. VGLA true Greatlanders - keep the faith!!!!

Sorry AIM4 but I disagree entirely with your post. Surely enough risk is on the table already without DW deciding to gamble on whether 88E has enough resources when they might need them. As I mentioned a short while ago the CEO and his BoD are employed to take strategic decisions to benefit the Company. They wouldn't be doing much of a job if they got this part wrong as this they can influence, flow results they can't. I have full belief in DW and the BoD and hope they (and hence us) pull off the biggest and best drill of 2020 - keep the faith as you may even have to thank DW for this CR some time soon. Hi Brom - I think you are spot on as ever - DW is our CEO and with the BoD are employed to make tactical decisions that will benefit the Company. I believe they will have assessed what they need to make this the "transformational year" that DW has referred to. Time now to keep the faith that DW and the BoD will deliver and whilst squeeky bum time, there was bound to be times like these along the way. All IMHO and VGLA true 88ers!!!
