I think you're right Pipster - there has always been more to Mr Wall than meets the eye - hopefully he is tactically setting us up for a decent return on our investments in due course. He has proved that he can negotiate with the big boys and come out unscathed - I know some will say no better off either, but whilst we have the resource and have improved data/knowledge, then DW may yet set us up for a windfall - AIMHO and good luck to all.

Firstly thanks to Magic and Paddy for their selfless invaluable contributions.
Secondly has anyone else thought that we may never have to sell ALL of our GGP shares (provided we don't get bought out)? GGP may be the shareholding that just keeps on giving and as it rises to new levels according to new positions achieved (e.g. MRE, Telfer processing GGP resources, Scallywag being drilled and proven up, same for Firetower, Warrantina etc) - then all shareholders need to do is draw down the cash you want/need and leave the rest invested knowing it de-risks and climbs in value on every event. It might then form part of a legacy passed on to your next of kin for them to do the same? I don't think I've had too much sun, I do think this is a distinct possibility if we don't get bought out and if we do, well c'est la vie!!! VGLA True Greatlanders!!!

As a fellow Lther I understand those who feel the latest RNS just gives out more of the same patter that DW is associated with. But just for a minute put yourself in his shoes. Yes he is well paid but he has the responsibility of making 88E successful firmly on his shoulders. His partner PB is no more and their joint plans have yet to reap rewards, but he persuaded PMO to stump up $23m to drill but they drilled where they wanted and pulled out bearing all the cost. DW has got our land back and all opportunities that go with it plus the energy and ideas of XCD that will surely only help secure a further FO. So your decision (and mine) is do you turn a paper loss into a real loss, or do we await what DW is trying to implement next which must still hinge on proving up what he and PB first discovered. If like me you're deciding on the latter route, then what's the point in continually slating DW - he (we) may still have a day in the sun and as far as negotiating FO deals, I would prefer to have DW in charge than anyone else. VGLA in whatever you decide but can we try to get this BB back to more positive comments? VGLA 88ers we could be on a Phoenix!!!

Don't often rally to the defence of someone but on this Board Oldtimer has been one of the highest recommended posters - I cannot vouch for his past or other Boards but I think it is a bl...y cheek that DarbyoGill comes out of the blue to call OT all the names under the sun on THIS board - jog on Darby!!

At worst the MM's are targeting stop losses to sweep up a whole load of easy shares possibly to fill huge purchase orders. It's already been commented that there are more bugs than sells. Pity this strategy plays into the hands of the day traders but for lth's just ignore the "white noise" that accompanies these tactics, hold on tight to your shares and don't set your stop losses any higher than you have to - otherwise sit back and let the shenanigans wash over you as we know what we have and it will only increase in time IMHO!!!

We've had a slight retrace on the SP despite news last night that was just about all we could have asked for - we're still drilling outwards to find the perimeters and we're finding increased quality at lower and lower depths. In a post earlier on I predicted this might happen to the SP so the point now is keeping the faith in GH and his BoD as I truly believe they will deliver. This is being de-risked the longer we hold and hopefully new platforms achieved to spring upwards from - I see no reason why we should see sub 6p ever again and as Numis now state its 12p as a target and onwards from there. I think you are spot on Lifesagame and I'm sure Paddy and Kabaa would also agree that the "apparent" news that come out tomorrow/Thursday will not be life changing with the SP rocketing upwards. What it will do (hopefully) is consolidate the move upwards in our resource and confirm there is more to come. Then we will move towards MRE or buy out and that's when our SP should be very pleasing. Hope shareholders don't lose faith on Thursday when the SP either retraces or moves only a little - keep the faith!!!! IMHO

God bless you Shaa, AIM and Jiddy for trying to remain positive in the face of what we have had to put up with. I still haven't sold a single share since I first bought in 2016 - part of that is personal pride that I don't want to admit I got the belief in PB/DW so wrong and part is what is the point of turning the paper loss into a real one when c. 90% down is so hard to swallow!! I wish all who are sticking this out the very best of luck - it is well overdue here!

Spot on Islayman at 16.23 and it looks as though Deltalo and Kip are on the same page. I'm still here and will be until I can be sure Paul Basinski got it all wrong. I've invested because of my belief in his skill and expertise and I hope we will find that still succeeds. Admittedly we need the Phoenix to rise but why not - the oil is still there so let's go hunt it out!!! vG

Some excellent posts on here today - thanks MrMartini, Blingybird,Shaa,Kip, TodayistheDay and of course Jiddy. If I can just add another reason why it might be worth waiting until the fat lady sings - my other current AIM investment saw me start at 1.28p and then a major (Newmont) waked away and of course the SP bombed and the world seemed over. After awhile and some redirection another major appeared (Newcrest) and the SP is now 5.28p and climbing with multi bag prospects. So who knows 88E may explore a new track and do something similar. Like many have said PB was excited about something and thag might be just around the corner. I'm not ready to quit until I'm 100% sure the great man got this one wrong but each of us needs to make our own minds up - i just know that from doom and gloom there is onlh one say things can logically go and i hope this is as true for 88E as it is for my other AIM investment. VGLA and if you have your health you have everything!!

....whilst all around are losing theirs!! Really disappointing news for sure, but PMO were never going to be there for the HRZ and that has yet to unfold. Also will DW do a David Cameron and walk away? We will know by the AGM this week as well as finding out the "battle plan". This isn't going to be easy but it's not over just yet and those saying it is, are they regular posters, are they even investors?? Everyone should make up their own mind when it's right for them - don't let yourself be scared into overreacting or following the crowd - keep your head and good luck whatever you then decide.

Thanks Garry for an instant response to what could have easily been construed as a nothing RNS - now with your perspective we can take encouragement that the portents are good and there is much to therefore look forward to. VGLA true 88ers - it has been a long wait and hopefully we will shortly be in a position to say that it was all worthwhile and be able to sit back and watch how the true value unfolds - nothing would give me greater pleasure than to shake DW's hand to thank him for his doggedness and perseverance through the worst of trials and tribulations - here's hoping!!!!

Think you mean in your honest opinion Mercman - plenty of others who would disagree with you in their opinion and I'm one of them. However I don't like to mix boards so let's stick with Greatland Prayer here and wish good luck to all!!
