Yes thanks Biglad (and Benton) - spoken to John May myself a couple of times in the past. He always sounds plausible and reasonable, but trouble is I'm just not sure that we're being spun a yarn until they drawdown whatever funds are left until they're gone. I'd like to believe there's a chance that this will reignite but my better sense is telling me it's dead and buried. Thanks for your endeavours though and good luck to us all.

Lots of good people like Livin and Mr Martini still in the wings, but great to hear from them now and again. Wishing all 88ers the little bit of luck we all need here - I still won't sell a single share as I believe the fundamentals are still there and one of the big boys will want to get to it at some point. Patience is painful but hopefully valuable in the end!! Come on Big Dave prove you're the man to deliver!!

Not sure what Phron is on these days - he's swinging from positive to negative on a daily basis. To follow Jiddy's thread - it is likely that the preferred bidder if (big if) considering a buy out, will know that if they pitch it too low, not only will 88E turn it down, but other bidders could pile in. They would not want too bid too high either, for obvious reasons, but all of these negotiations take time to-ing and fro-ing (a la Brexit?) DW could be a hero if he gets the right FO (or Buy Out) deal but IMHO the longer the negotiations go on, the better for us. VGLA!!

Crikey Smokin we must have been separated at birth - my story is almost identical - my average is now 2.77 by buying more on the dips and I've never sold a single share and have 10m of the jokers!! Like you I still believe better times will come. Mainly I trust the fundamentals haven't changed and whilst Winx was a tiny play that didn't come off, we still have 3 projects that are much more sizeable that have no reason not to. I have also met DW at the 2016 AGM and believe him to be genuine, competent and shareholder aware. For me a 10p party is enough to retire on and a £1 party a dream come true but VGLA 88ers - we deserve our day in the sun!!

To Gervaise Heddle, Clive Latcham and the GGP Team for securing investment in us that will hopefully see us grow and grow. Congrats also to Stephen Beetham whose selfless investment gave many others the courage to either stay invested or to invest more - Stepehn deserves every bit of reward he achieves here along with GH, CL and the Team and al true Greatlanders - time now to let Newcrest and the Team turn this into SOLG Plus - VGLA!!

Well done to all who kept their heads last Friday (mostly LTHers I suspect) whilst all around were losing theirs. But particular shame on any who sought to lash out at DW and the team. Oil exploration is notoriously difficult but either you believe in the integrity of the man (team) at the helm of you don't. If the latter, why are you invested here - move on. Far more will be achieved by showing faith in those that are trying their best and doing as good a job as they possibly can. Fingers crossed that the rest of March reveals even better news for the LTHers (the believers) VGLA !!

From Jiddy, Moda, Rosso and WAAussie and GarryM this morning - keeping their heads whilst all around are losing theirs!! I admit to being slightly disappointed but proportions are the key thing here and Winx is a relatively small proportion of what we have on the table - keep your heads folks - a bumpy ride ahead but it should be worth it in the end!! According to djryan buys and sells totals aren't to be believed but that only underlines even further what I was saying - MM's play games on AIM which may affect SP's in the short term, but overall good fundamentals are what will win through. I believe we have them here and hence will hold onto my shares until they are proved up - GLA

More than £164m shares bought today and £58m sold - if it was the other way round I might be concerned. Meanwhile GGP's fundamentals were only consolidated by the RNS so what's to panic about? I haven't sold a single share and don't intend to until there is a damned good reason. The games played by MM's on AIM will continue ad infinitum but their games can only affect the sp in the short term. In the long run its the fundamentals that dictate failure or success - I like what I see and not going to panic for anyone!! VGLA true Greatlanders.
