Thanks BB and Reaper - I joined in October 2016 and have only ever bought and never sold a single share since - so I am in for the long haul. I believed in DW from as soon as I met him at the 2016 Presentation (and PB - RIP) I was brought up with good things come to those who wait and speculate to accumulate, so I will be patient and wish everyone else who does the same, untold riches - come on 88E!!

Hi BB32 - I agree wholeheartedly with you and don't think I have ever talked down 88E but afraid I cannot stand by to receive abuse or threats. To be honest never really believed that reporting anyone would have any effect but as ETTT is conspicuous by his absence then maybe it does work, but rightly so as he was seriously threatening Investors and that is not acceptable anywhere. I am happy to avoid and ignore to ensure no clogging of the board with stuff that takes the eye away from 88E. Bizarrely if ETTT is invested in 88E then I wish him as much success as myself and all other 88E investors. I hope December brings us all great joy!!

Yes nice one Banjo - I've spoken with John May before - just wish they would speak to the shareholders on this Board out of courtesy if nothing else!! Fingers crossed on some news soon.

Thanks LeMajor - DW is quite likely to jockey himself into as good a negotiating position as he can, so I suspect you are absolutely right!!

I agree that entering a potentially transformational period sounds good but didn't like the use of the word possible when mentioning the farm-out - I thought Dave had used far more convincing terminology in previous references to the farm-out. I admit to being disappointed that there was nothing more substantial to report other than the placing was a success, but perhaps this was just me wishing too hard. At the end of the day securing the placing so quickly does show there is confidence in us and Dave did not keep us hanging any longer than needed. VGLA - I will remain patient as I believe in DW and his BoD!!

Any chance you are posting on this Board as 128064 and over on Greatland Gold as Readthecandles? The same phrase "reign in" was used today by both RTC and 128064 in different posts on different boards but IF separate individuals you both felt the need to use the same phrase on the same day and you both misspell "rein"??? Unless you can prove otherwise your credibility has gone right out the window as far as I am concerned - I have posted this same message on Greatland Gold

Just want to thank Tiburn for your consistent quality in your posts especially 10.04 today. I'm not a geologist but I've been in business for decades and my strategy in investing is to identify quality CEO's and their BoD's. Very hard to find on AIM and hence why I am only invested in 2 AIM shares of which GGP is one. I like GH as he seems genuine, committed, capable and ambitious. A ten bagger would be fine with me and anything more a bonus. I could retire on a ten bagger from either of my AIM shares and I have faith that backing quality CEO's is the key to success. Thanks to everyone for a fantastically balanced mix of feedback from last night. It magnifies the camaraderie on this Board when you can be prevented from attending an event due to work commitments and yet rely on your fellow P.I.'s to represent what they said and heard back to us all. I've heard enough to convince myself that DW is our best bet for the future just as he has been in the past and that my reasons for investing were right and remain right. If Mickey says we have to wait till next year for the £1 party then so be it!! Sincere thanks to you all and I for one will be voting in favour of DW's bonus scheme as I do not want to lose him before he delivers what he knows we all want and deserve - VGLA 88ers !!

DaveWin - you would have made decent enough comments until the last sentence but "Sack the Board" is a massive over-reaction. Whilst I would be against a bonus scheme that kicks in just for getting back to where this SP ought to be and as you rightly say market sentiment could even achieve, I still believe DW and his BoD are the right team to get this job done.
The one thing DW has done correctly is announce this bonus scheme ahead of tonight's meeting so anyone disenchanted with it has the opportunity to call him out on it in front of the audience of shareholders and allow him to respond. I hope along with others that DW has "a rabbit to pull out of the hat" for all us long suffering 88ers - VGLA and sadly it looks like work is calling me in again so I will not be there tonight. If the sp had reached 10p by now I could tell work to take a run and jump!!

Good morning all 88ers - hoping to meet as many of you as possible at the above. Hoping DW will reassure us that farm out will occur this year and who knows perhaps buy out, or is that too much to ask for? I hope our exploration has enough proof held in the data room to persuade the Chinese or better known big boys to take the plunge on us - VGLA 88ers - I still have not sold a single share since buying in here in 2016 and just hoping my faith in DW and the BoD is well founded - should see soon enough!!!

Afternoon all - just come off the phone from John May who was upbeat and stating that they are still fighting the good fight. He says they are pretty much waiting on the bigger boys to sort themselves out, which he said can often happen on big deals. I pointed out the anniversary coming up and he agreed it has been too long a time but when I said hopefully news before Xmas, he said hopefully before then. We are all stuck in limbo and powerless but I am always pleased when the phone gets answered. VGLA Leopards for an about turn in fortune!!!
