I think that the SP rise over this week following the ‘recommend permit’ issued prior to the formal approval at the SCC planning committee priced in the expected outcome.

I think that the SP rise is now being sold into a little by people who bought into that rise.

SP will lift again when rig is brought on site and we start to see some ‘action’ in terms of operational development. That is drilling HH2 and HH2-z and then HH-1z and then testing on those horizontals to absolutely prove out what UKOG and the independent analysts have been telling us re flow rates in the region of 750-1000 bopd per horizontal.

Success and further corroboration that the geophysical models and well engineers’ predictions at that point will cause the SP to rise again. Possibly to around 5-6p depending upon actual flow rates encountered (I have a theory that SS undercooked it now due to the 100bn barrels debacle).

But for today there are a lot of ‘sell on news’ 10% traders out there :-)

What, specifically, do you think will cause the council to vote against the recommendation of its planning officers?

“A councillor always has an eye on the next election . .” OK then, when was the most recent council election? What did the councillors campaign on? How many of the electorate are actually engaged in the HH discussion - you can get a rough idea by looking at the number of responses opposing HH planning application - less than 1000.

It’s obviously caused by a massive drop in production. Despite the fact of repeated RNS staying constant production at MINIMAL drop in pressure. . .

Honestly, if you had half a brain I think that you’d be dangerous.

Trying so sow reds of doubt about the due process for UKOG to obtain planning consent - have they got this, have they done that, I’m not sure that they’ve considered the other.

SCC will ensure that UKOG take every necessary step.

EA and OGA and other appropriately engaged regulatory authorities have a very keen and directly vested interest in ensuring that UKOG obtain all necessary approvals and demonstrate they will switch from exploration to full production in a sustainable and safe manner.

Also, this is not Mr. Sanderson’s first rodeo. . . Do you think he wants to risk his reputation and the success of UKOG through cutting corners or neglecting to follow due process? Really?

Anyhoo - just got back from holibobs in a lovely part of Cyprus.
