There’s been an unhealthy mistrust of the BOD since the company’s inception. The financial update is their chance to put that right, with clear and unequivocal figures that leave no room for ambiguity. That should provide the platform for real growth.

A blue day is badly needed after the excellent RNS yesterday. It’s probably being held back by the lack of transparency regarding future funding and debt requiring paid. Hopefully the results and news of the share consolidation will help.

At last, some excellent news. Hopefully just the start of the news flow & just in time for the results.

If one of the directors ever buy in, I think it will do +444%

The market seems pretty indifferent to a billionaire buying in. Maybe that’s because this company has a history of doing everything it can to assist anyone but it’s shareholders to make money. The most pertinent question now is - why was this transaction reported so late? It’s a pity the directors aren’t so keen to go on puppet shows like Proactive these days. They have still done nothing of any substance for long suffering shareholders, regardless of how much money some claim to have made trading this.

I’d say positive. Firstly because someone is buying in instead of selling out. Secondly because this time it really might be the end of the fund. MR market will let us know soon enough. Hopefully this will be the start of the (positive) news flow

My experience of the markets is 13 years as a trustee of a pension scheme. I learned a lot from that, and I always remember Standard Life (who looked after the biggest part of the scheme) saying that the Royal Bank of Scotland was a good investment. This is where I realised that they didn’t have a clue what they were talking about & I could probably do ok myself. I have done ok, but I like to make sure that companies like ICON don’t catch out new investors. I sometimes wish I had listened a bit more when I started, but thought I knew it all. I am invested here though, and I hope it comes good. As much for those that have lost 99% of their investment as myself. I am no expert, and I don’t claim to be either.

Really? This company haven’t exactly been transparent so far, so I’m interested in how shareholders can have a pretty good idea what’s going on. I’d far prefer figures in black and white, and audited, than someone on a free bb with an agenda.

Nobody can say how much debt is left because they haven’t told us how much debt is left. Hopefully this will be made crystal clear in the financial update, along with clarity on running costs.

I have been positive on this company since it’s inception, don’t think that I’m not because I’m demanding progress. They have done well to get things going, and will hopefully be generating enough cash to cover costs. £600k being taken by the directors is not very good. I’d rather have seen them paid on share performance, or at least a portion. All I’m asking for is some clarity. We have not seen any numbers to work out where the company stands. We don’t have any idea how much is still owed to the fund. I’m holding on, and will continue to hold as I do see the potential. I just wish I hadn’t lost so much by believing them from the start.

Annoyed doesn’t cover how I feel. But I will hold on and see if they can produce something of substance. I do agree that there is the potential for an excellent business here. They owe us all that much.

To all those accusing people of moaning I say this - how can anyone be happy with over 90% destruction of the share price? This may be an excellent opportunity for anyone buying in for the first time, but consider those that have held since the infamous £1 million contract and 0.4p floor. Also the shareholders were told early on after the creation of ICON that the legacy issue was to be “completed shortly”. Lies, incompetence or both? So I will moan all I want while the happy clappers continue to let them away with this charade.

I was stupid enough to believe the RNS’s and the series of interviews they used to do. If this isn’t the classic “lifestyle” company, then id hope they start to show it soon. I’m calling out the BOD for what they are and I will hopefully get to do it face to face one day.

6 billion extra shares to dump, no directors purchased shares, toxic relationship with DS, no transparency, no communication with shareholders, misleading RNS’s (£1 million contract) & (0.4p floor), no confidence in the company, no numbers of earnings, no confirmation of employee cost or running cost, and finally - three directors earning £200k each x 3 (probably eating all the profit generated). There’s probably more, but you get the gist I’m sure.

The directors did not take a cut in remuneration, they have deferred a portion of their remuneration. Big difference.

As much as I’d like to see us taken out for a fair price, I can’t see the current board giving up this golden goose without being able to cream the shareholders one last time. £200k per annum for each of the three greedy piggies, plus fattening up daddy piggy (DS) is money for old rope. If they actually buy shares or if they award themselves some sort of deal on the company being sold, then yes, maybe. The only question then would be how would DS be able to profit from this? One thing is for sure, the people that have suffered the most, and supported this farce since the beginning, will be the last to benefit.

I 100% disagree with you I’m afraid. I remember right back at the start of ICON that JQ or LH (can’t remember which), told the shareholders in an interview that the legacy issues were nearly resolved, and also mentioned the “floor at 0.4p”. This company can’t be contacted to ask questions either - a communications company at that. They took way too long (IMO) to get the website up and running (again, a tech savvy company supposedly). They bought a company off of one of their friends, but the shareholders were not told any details. There was the fabled £1million contact that never was. They have wrecked the share price - I believe it’s the biggest dilution of them all (happy to be corrected on that one). I want my chance to challenge them for this shambles, and I fully intend to do that.

Two things I’d like to say about this company. 1. Absolutely inexcusable for the three directors to be drawing a salary of £200k each, in a company that had £0 to very little revenue (yes, I’m aware they have deferred some). 2. Absolutely inexcusable for these directors to have not bought one share between them. They should have been remunerated appropriately when the company became profitable. Then they can say they “share our pain”. Surely a good time to buy in now, so good luck!

Rather than speculate, I’ll wait for the trading update. I’ll leave you to litter your continual negative posts with such words as negative & punt. I bet you’re a right hoot at a party.

More subtle, but relentless bashing from our resident doom monger. He said it’s “worth a punt at 4p”, yet constantly puts the company down. He also said his buy order didn’t get filled on Monday - funny that? Why is he here, why would he say it’s worth buying at any price, if it’s such a dog? He will likely come back with more (maybe not so) subtle bashing. Strange that, almost like it’s his job!
