PC, thanks for your thoughts-having bought in between 22-29 (well done ), then you are right to bank the profit, but that cant be said for some of our larger shareholders.
-Take out Tosca (surely they're not in this for 1p), some other large ii holdings, the Directors, and probably that 24 mill that's just changed hands, and there won't be many to take up the T/O---so maybe you will sell the whole 50%, and if that's how it reflects for other pi's, then there may well be scramble to get back in.

--How many of you have thought about selling part (all) of your holding @46p to the T/O, and are hoping to buy them back in the mid to high 30's ??
-I would imagine that the mm's will be well aware of this, and unless you're really quick, they won't let you back in that easily, and will probably open them up around 40p for the first lucky few, and then move them up again.
Remember, most people won't get paid for any stock they sell in the T/O until the 29th, so will have to try and buy on a T ten.
-The sensible move (if you have the cash) is to buy your stock now (10% of your holding including the bit you buy now---or a larger % if you want to take the gamble), and then submit that amount to the offer.
-can't see the sp staying under 40p....especially now the seller looks like they've gone.

Been pretty obvious that we have had a seller lurking in the background. ---Looks like it's done now.-wonder if we will see the other side later.

Quel i'm sure that period has finished---SLE put the add in the FT a week or two back-it raised no new creditors, and the capital reorganisation was approved in the Irish Court on the 8th feb.

No GBP,--- there is no way that Hasina is still an obstacle, --in fact if anything, she has seen the light and is now Pro all coal mining.
--With the effort the Chinese have put in now (not just in this project, but all over Bangl), it would be suicidal for her to start trying to delay things at this late stage, and risk losing the huge investments that are heading Bangla's way.
-There was always going to be a critical time when this project would gain approval, and that time has come.----------Too much has been said and done to turn back now, or even slow down.
-This mine will be up and running as will the power plants, long before she retires.

Maybe, just maybe, we have seen the last of the seller-------lets see if the rump gets marked after hours.

A few days back i posted that somebody who has the selling order(maybe Strand Hanson ) also has a big portfolio of discretionary clients, and they are putting them into GCM.
-Iv'e notice for the last week that a pattern has been established.-whereby all the early trading is absorbed and nullified and the SP (if it has risen ) is slowly brought back to a level at which they are happy to put their clients in.
-This always seems to occur in the later afternoon, just about the time that NY opens-(not one bng between 1.45pm and 3.55 pm and then it all happens.)
-This SP is being held to allow certain funds to get in-when the seller has finished.--lets see if we get another after hours trade around the 28-29 level

Bees, i wonder if we're just being played here.
-My guess is no announcement from GOB until End March / April (when Hasina is due to visit China). So that leaves plenty of time for the Mm to squeeze and shake PI's.
-All those strings of sales, and then buys, and then sales, and then buys-over and over, they don't feel like PI, and they don't feel like ii's either, --------so are they just MM's going short, dragging the sp down, closing out, and then repeating the whole thing.
-Most PI's are locked in, and have been drained of cash by now, so they are ripe for plucking, ------drag the sp ever lower until the PI's give up and surrender their stock.

---Having talked to various people "in the know", and tried to read between the lines of the RNS's-------i'm going to go out on a limb here, and pin things down.

-As per the RNS, we are due to make a presentation to the GOB, with our full proposal of Power plants and mining, on the 28Th feb, and the thing we all want to know is, when will we get an answer.

------------Well having done all the research i can, i think i can say, with a nigh on 90% degree of certainty, that if we do make that presentation on the 28th Feb, we will get an answer, one way or the other, by the 29th Feb.

At some stage in this project, ill assume we'll have to have some sort of stock issue.----So will they ever reach that % ?--I'm not convinced they will.------------------Maybe apart from selling a few of their monthly (or is it qutly) fee, to pay a few bills, --will they ever really need to sell any at all.?

----One of those brokers was handling the Kilkenny stock, selling it into the mkt from 60p down.------------Then along has come Strand Hanson--------either them, or one of the other brokers has a huge portfolio of discretionary clients, and having sold the stock down to rock bottom, they now put all those discretionary funds in ----all those smallish trades (5/-=15/-) that we saw around the 26/7/8/9 level, lists and list and list of them, and they never moved the SP-------------------they didn't need to-----they had the seller and they had their own in-house buyers-----the only reason the sp moved at all, was the outside PI interest (the likes of you and I)---------------now having gotten all their private clients in, they have lined up the ii's----------no big lumps of stock left-----so they have to pick up the loose pi stock---it's all that's left-------and this is just the risk funds, ----those that are prepared to get in before any GL--------------you wait till the "thundering herd" arrive after the GL is given---------short of any big placing, where are they going to get any stock from.

yes GPB sooner or later that seller will finish.
