Exactly my thought that it was correcting an earlier error.

Wolves does appear to have done an "about face" at the same time as he began praising another who appeared to be on the opposing team.
I recall however, another poster (Feline Fan) who appeared knowledgable and genuine posted that they had made contact in reality.
There was however a troll posting their opinion that feline and I were one and the same. So who knows what the truth is.
They were intense times and the Trolls haven't gone. They are biding their time along with the shorters.

My thinking was that today would be a nice blue rise with the help of U.S. news. However Asian markets in the red coupled with Oil rising may well scupper a FTSE rise today.

Shaun. Thanks for asking, rather selfishly I reply "I'm all right Jack" never complacent though and fully aware of the trials of others.
As for share price it's natural to want a payback for the problems and dodgy dealings we have suffered here. I would be wary of an over abundance of greed. Don't forget there are those well practiced in the art of emptying others pockets. Best to set your sell price a little lower than usual. Unfortunately history does have a habit of repeating itself when others don't learn by their mistakes. Very best wishes to the many decent individuals here.

Hi Shaun, Hope life is treating you well. The Titanic info is factual but maybe not a link that we wish to dwell on.
It's good to have this forum. Provides a useful means of sharing information. Sometimes meaningful and interesting sometimes not :-)

PR63. I did a rare thing and gave a tick of recommendation for your response to my question. Not only for responding fully but doing so in an interesting manner.
Can't say I fully agree but to do so would be rather dull. I believe differences of opinion are often more interesting.
I do hate to cement a paper loss but unfortunately it is sometimes wise to know when to do so. I managed to average down elsewhere and create a profit from a loss. However then added insult to my injury by watching the subsequent rise after I had significantly reduced my holding. However I had become distrustful of the share and would never have been comfortable holding too many again.
Back to AV, which I have held for an eternity at varying levels and quantities. I currently hold a decent quantity by my standards and fortunately am in profit. The difference is that I am comfortable with the volume because I firmly believe it will come good.
Whatever anyone does here is fine provided it's well thought out. Even if a mistake it's an opportunity to learn.

If you bought @415 why didn't you sell when you were in profit, for example "434.40 GBX ?15 Nov 2019" ?????

I'm thinking the same, adding in the belief of better times ahead.

Although it's not set in stone. I also can't see any problem with 14p this time around.
They could have paid but let us down in 2020. They now have too much going into the coffers to renage.
