Ah! but, other companies are releasing the same old same old. Whatever our results say, I'm certain they won't be boring.

However although I had sold circa 95% before the recent drop. I didn't wish my nagging premonition to crystallize.
Problem we have here is that apart from the day to day movements, there is also a nucleus of ##### who have no scruples. I would say "don't have shorters at the back of your mind Oli. Have then always at the front along with other manipulators. As accurately recalled by JB, "be cautious"

Seems you misunderstood my recent post and concluded the exact opposite of my thoughts.
I was in fact reiterating an observation I have stated many times. There are many reasons for price movement. As diverse as management and CWU at loggerheads or financial institutions playing their games.
I am not at all surprised to see the drop from recent highs which is as I suggested many times. Also the reason for reducing my holding considerably.

Sadly that was said in jest. We know from past experience that there are are countless elements that come into play here.
That said, workforce commitment is one of them.

Well Oli, If you are in agreement I will take that as a positive.

This is a forum where investors of all levels are able to read/discuss information that could influence the share price.
Surely this should include employee satisfaction etc? I don't necessarily agree with all comments but I recognise their right to make them.

A shareholder should recognise that for the business to grow it benefits from a cooperative workforce which must be receiving adequate remuneration. However the figures quoted here are ridiculous. I'm not suggesting they are untrue, unfortunately.

It would need to go a lot lower than 570 to interest me in increasing my holding. I certainly would not contemplate doing so for a 10p divi.

Yes JB, money kept in a sealed pocket sounds sensible.
I shall receive proceeds of sale in the next few weeks, but have decided early inheritance will be a good use for it. I'm not enthusiastic about increasing share holdings these days.
The contract you mention could well be useful but there are many traps awaiting the unwary.
Yes, time to enjoy others spending my money. ;-)

Interesting times JB. Not really a great deal of SP movement over the past month.
With more stores closing we could assume an increase to online. However perhaps the movement has already taken place.

Despite not receiving his bonus, Royal Mail's annual report showed Simpson received £462,000 during his last year with the firm. He will still be paid £375,000 in this calendar year as part of his termination agreement and retains share awards originally worth £1.2million. 
Jeavons, who was paid £110,000 last year including pension benefits, was handed shares worth up to £390,000 late last year under a scheme set to vest in 2023. He is in line for a maximum bonus of £630,000 for this year – on top of his £420,000 salary – which is only payable for exceptional performance with a third deferred for three years in shares. 
Rico Back, who was handed a £6million golden hello on his appointment in 2018, still received £94,000 in 2020-21, and owns shares now worth £9.8million. He will also receive £480,000 as part of his termination agreement.
