July & August Trading Update Thu 23rd Sept

Just bought another chunk. Today's buy backs won't cost the Company as much as Friday.
Interesting times and dull it isn't. Pity our mate Nuri has become such a grump ;-)

It must have been rather lonely for the sole occupant of my filter box. Mind you he loves the sound of his own voice. As things are going, he's soon to be introduced to a playmate. No question about that.

Presumably the intention is to buy back shares without driving up the price which would be self harm.
It's what they do after aquiring the stock which will move the SP. Then compare AV. With it's peers.

JB. Good you are seem fit and healthy. Judging by the tone of your responses being unchanged. Aliases and deleting accounts in order to lose the history. Less said about them the better.
Something you might find interesting considering your comment regarding the skills utilised when purchasing substantial stock without affecting the SP.
Aviva (AV.) As you probably know are in the process of buying their own stock which they intend cancelling. I won't go into more detail however the following link shows the amounts of stock involved and individual transactions.
