Agreed.
I just topped up again too at 3p. Showing as a sell....
SSM - thanks for the reply. That's all fair and accepted.
Can someone tell me if this guy has contributed anything in his time in the NED seat? Maybe i'm missing something, but I don't think he's added much over the course of the year. I'm aware that this could be wide of the mark though.
I'm still waiting for something from that sent on Friday. Will update here if i get a reply.
I doubt they have given up looking for one (if not found already), but they've missed an opportunity to just reaffirm that they are going to appoint one at some point. It's another example of NFX being very poor at the business of communications.
I think she's paid on a contract basis just to help with RNS and company filings etc. She won't be speaking on behalf of the company without being told to do so, hence why you'll get nowt back from her unless it's been stated in previous comms.
Fear not though NFX holders.... Investment Chimp (@ChimpInvestment) has 'taken a position' in NFX. Thank god for that - i feel much better now. https://twitter.com/ChimpInvestment/status/1329753559647268867
There's more positions taken on Twitter than in the Kama Sutra.
Better to laugh than cry!
Rather ironically, every time i post a moan, the price ticks up....
I've just emailed via the site to ask on progress (or lack of) re. CEO appointment. I doubt very much I will be receiving a reply.
Understand what you are saying re. Blackwell, but just don't think he is committing himself to deliver on deals here.
Taken from 7th Oct Strategic Update:
"Recruit a CEO with responsibility for delivering the Group's strategy"
Sounds to me like this needs to be in place prior to getting deals over the line - IMO of course.
Appointment is desperately needed here to move things forward. I don't expect to hear anything of substance until that is announced. Given NFX recent record, this could be a trying few months ahead. I will keep the faith for a while yet, but I'd be lying if i said that I will hold forever. May have to cut my losses at some point.
BTW - i am not aware of the vast difference in resources available!
Not sure - all i do know however is that in the time since we heard about talk of a partnership, we will have seen a EU Withdrawal Bill ratified and potentially an agreed EU trade deal conducted over the same time frame. Where there's a will, there's a way.
ATM, all things NFX feels a bit 'wing and a prayer' unfortunately.
Very sorry to hear about your cousin HaleSpur.
All the very best to you and take care of yourself.
Christ - go to bed lad
Honestly, it's like a schizophrenic bad-acid trip reading of the stuff on here.
It is like that Stewart Lee 'Comedy Vehicle' sketch where the couple turn on E4 and the sluice-gate opens, only to encapsulate the living room with filth through the conduit of a screen.
Sorry, but i disagree with this. I understand what you are saying, but the sheer volume being traded here is soaking up the BRH transactions (albeit with a downside to RMS) in short order.
Volatility is part of the game where there is cross-ownership and the creases are being ironed out. I suspect that BRH will hold a nominal percentage by the end of week and things will settle down here. To be clear, i suspect BRH will clear another 4% and then continue to hold.
I think a few (well quite a few!) are forgetting about Gyrometric here. Next year is going to be a big one for the renewable sector with COP26 inevitably going to be generating lots of investment announcements throughout the year. https://www.theguardian.com/business/2020/nov/16/firms-agree-scotland-to-england-renewable-energy-superhighway
I went through his timeline of posts the other day. I have to say, i admire his persistence.
So many dud clairvoyants on Twitter.
