Ox - i use HL for my own. Don't believe there are any caps other than the annual allowance (if that's what you mean).
Hey Clablard - totally agree. We should find out about the time Santa is socially distancing down the chimney pipe :)
I've put a few more into the ISA this morning, despite saying i was now done until news.
Lack of updates is frustrating me, but I'm inverting it into an expectation that there must be some payload being generated for future communications.
It's become pretty obvious to me that the only headwinds on this moving up is DT's drip-selling blocks into the market. Without that, I genuinely think this would be a couple of pence higher right now. ATB folks!
The data is knackered. I'm seeing 2 RNS and trades only to 13th February...I'm going to can my subs to this soon. Happens all too frequently.
Moves very fast on sustained buys. Nice to see some blue on the ticker!
Nice looking trades popping up on my L2 atm...
Morning all.
I was awake in the wee small hours last night and so decided to just go down a bit of an online rabbit-hole. Whilst doing a bit of searching on cocrystal, I found a couple of things that seemed of general interest. Maybe it's all known to the folks on here who do their own research.
1. Chris Blackwell (ex-Vectura): Vectura are worth taking a look at. They are very involved in inhaled treatment development and got me thinking if there may be a natural tie-in with NXP002. I had a look through the site and this was an interesting read: https://www.vectura.com/product-development/
2. Had a look at CoCrystal Pharma and they are now involved in a licensing agreement with Kansas State University Research Foundation. Cocrystal is investigating lead candidates from a program of antiviral compounds, applying its structure-based platform technology, for treatment of COVID-19. Seems like this is something that NFX could easily be working on under the radar during this silence. There is a really useful list of known treatment developments related to COVID-19 here for those interested in taking a look. A couple of mentions of repurposing and inhaled delivery of treatments: https://www.bioworld.com/COVID19products
A bit off-topic, but thought i'd post anyway....anything to alleviate the boredom! :)
Lots of nonsense on the board atm. I've topped up earlier again today before the end of the tax year. I see no issues with the current situation and happy to wait this out.
We're not in normal times and I don't really think expectations (and semantics or interpretation of language) are a useful guide to anything at present. The only constant i'm seeing is "Stay Home, Protect the NHS, Save Lives"....
All the best to you all!
The last one back in Feb came in at 5:05pm....i was thinking that earlier.
Scooby - i just added around 25k more @ 4.80 in the last ten mins. Took a long time to get a quote but can see a rise coming from the look of the book.
Not seen anything further re. bailout, but say this earlier today: https://gulfnews.com/business/uae-hospital-operator-nmc-to-initiate-legal-action-against-ex-management-1.1585025108906
I'm in agreement with this sentiment. I would much prefer silence (and hopefully talks/negotiations) than the loose lips that spiked this up on the Kissei speculation.
Last top-up for me. Slowly been chipping away over 14 months to build my position. Currently averaging 6.7, so that NXP002 news next week would be welcome, but only if it's the right deal. It's so important to get it right so would happily wait beyond Q1 if it's not aligned to expectations and long-term value.
Some very interesting notes from the investment bank Jeffries have been reported by The Guardian, particularly the numbers of COVID-19 tested in select countries. Note how few have actually been tested in the US. Seems a little bit odd to me that so few have been tested...

I've got a small holding here and i think you make some valid points, particularly on the recoup of his holding value. However, i think the real action will be over as Sports Direct tomorrow.
It's an odd move and it's still very vague in terms of the numbers on the board.
I'm pleased to see a move being made though. Offers a little bit more certainty on this actually being a going concern.
I have to say, this is the most admirably honest response to the earlier question that could have been written. It is also the most accurate by some way. Good on you - i applaud you.
