I think once PHE have an order for a 50tn DMG, they will be 4 years in contract talks, planning, (appeals and NINMBY), groundwork’s, order and development of bespoke kit, build out, regulation approval and testing. So it’ll be circa 2030 when they finally get some one in for their part, which won’t be huge as it’s just their tech design, someone is building it all!

This is a brand new facility, never built, never tested at scale and not approved or pasted any kind of reg checks!

I imagine HUI will be much earlier than PHE getting to market, given how far on they are with their planning and environmental reports!!

a) PE knows nothing worth telling you about HUI. And you comment "I know" - just Jackanory BS from you, childish :)))

b) Cannabis is already a massive industry, huge!! And is literally growing YOY. There is plenty of green energy solutions out there, the industry isn't sat waiting for a DMG to be developed. Even solar and wind can power most of this. If you really want H2, get a cracker and buy cheap ammonia!!

Probably not for much longer. At the PHE CMD event, there was some strange comments made by Paul Emmitt regarding HUI, which didn't come across well; sour grapes possibly. The relationship doesn't seem great and I wouldn't be surprised if HUI pull out of Ballymena altogether to focus on the potential MENA business.

It would be interesting to know what Wrights buses make of it, as they can't sit and wait indefinitely for a hydrogen supply. They would be better talking to Hyamtec / AFC Energy ATM!!

Castle - Been here about 7 years so what's another 7 years as it seems fairly safe with Engsolve earnings bread and butter money ,

a) 7 years is an incredibly long time. If you've as much in this as you say, a high interest account or FTSE ISA would have produced a significant return.

b) Engsolve brought in £0.5m last year, a lot of which will have been from PHE and Trimtabs. Even if they triple that, it isn't going to keep the lights on without another couple of million PROFIT, not revenue.

Just in the process of transferring my ISA from II, as it seems to have gone down the pan.

The buy and sell prices are terrible compared to H&L. Not sure if anyone else has a similar problem.

If HUI had said they were using PHE tech in these HOT’s agreements, Swazers would be recommending it to every man and his dog; instead he’s on the scaring people off it. Tragic really!!

That’s the logic, BUT wars etc cause instability and panic in the markets generally. Therefore there could be some short term effect that hits the markets generally.

Also, oil prices affect everything on a wider level, even if you are in the business of displacing them!

Anyone follow his advice will have lost virtually everything! Imagine paying 6p for it to be worth 10’s of a pence!!

Just ignore him, he’d hate to see HUI do well, as he’s lost all his money on PHE! He’s bitter and best ignored.

Knowing this country, planning, regulatory issues, NIMBYS, unknown hold ups, I’d say June 2029 is probably more realistic.

Based on finding someone who wants a 50tn DMG facility, I’d say another 3 months of contract talks, 12 months to get planning approved.

Groundworks etc to start after that. Build out of the facility, at least 12 to 18 months.

Sign off and regulatory approval, 6 months, opening and testing, 3 months.

So, I’d say from the point of finding the right party / customer, who will pay everything up front, to opening, you’re probably looking at 3 years.

So if someone signs tomorrow, and all goes to plan, they’d be a site opening in June 2028.
