Great Western Mining inches towards revenue
By John Foster
9th May 2024
"As previously reported Great Western has had a busy year exploring multiple sites for copper – which could become the main act for the mining company, which to date has been looking at historical gold and silver deposits – as its tenements have significant potential copper deposits, as well as progressing its mill."
Exploration and construction
"However, Great Western still isn’t in revenue-generating territory, as most of its work has been exploration and the construction of the mill, which have both been draws on the company’s financial reserves. The mining company has been firming-up its gold deposits, which as previously reported are historical mineworks and tailings from the Nevada 1959 gold (and silver) rush"......
........"It has been a long road for Great Western, but eventually the blocks are starting the fall into place and 2024 could well be the year the company’s turnaround moves into revenue-generating territory."
What's the matter Moonboy - can't stay away because your attempted cross ramp yesterday with another share didn't work? Haha.
Good things come to those who wait GLA genuine investors :))
Goingtomoonufo - try looking up the calendar as winter is 7 months away. Summer hasn't even started yet and you are already writing great western mining off for 2024.
There are no further costs associated with the plant to incur, as the plant is ready to go. Plus since the permit application was made gold has increased by $400 an ounce.
Based on the conservative estimate of the tailings resource report of 31,000 tonnes at 1.6g/t AU alone, that would mean from just the current tailings, potential revenue of over $4.5M from just the gravity separation phase.
Not bad for a company with low cash burn and no debt and with the potential for a large industry player to come aboard and develop what could be a world class copper mine.
It must be a sad lonely place for you throwing stones from your glass house like a petulant child.
How long does it take for a permit to be issued for a simple gravity separation processing plant for gods sake?
This is beyond a joke now, especially in a mining friendly jurisdiction like Nevada!
Hmmm, that is not really the RNS that some have been waiting well over 12 months for. Doesn't sound like diamond parcel is anywhere near to concluding and my concern is the prospect of a placing to address the large debt if refinancing isn't concluded by 7th May when they say "alternative financing" if not concluded by then. Given their track record I'm not particularly hopeful tbh :((
Looks like the predictions of this going blue have turned out correct today.
Onwards and upwards from here, placing out the way and plenty of newsflow to look forward to with the promise of being fully funded for the next 12 months minimum :))
This could be one that really takes people by surprise when they least expect it. Took a few mill yesterday GLA

First target 0.70p
"Placing before they do anything. Same old."
Err, great cash position, zero debt and now looking to farm out next phase, do try harder dealer - think it's more of a case of same old you haha
It's actually 0.223p now to sell in decent volume too :))
I think Sirius Minerals had a pretty lofty valuation as well prior to it's strategic review and share price crash. Prior to that it had a share price of 0.25p and 7Bn shares giving it a market cap of £1.75Bn - Harl just a mere £22M haha
The re-rate will start to happen before the news comes out - right now the market cap should be at at least 80 - 100 million imo so it has a lot of catching up to do!
Given the article last night I really can't see many people wanting to sell a bean now so I think it's fair to say that the recent 11p bottom will never be seen again GLA
They wouldn't be the first entity to get the timing of an open short position so disastrously wrong haha
Good things come to those that wait.
The potential here is huge, and I'm expecting another blue day today and Mon in the build up to Tues :)
Can't even buy in any decent volume now without paying premiums - like a coiled spring comes to mind :))
14% up now, 0.75 - 0.85 and 0.82 paid
Jumped up to 0.85 on the ask :))
Nothing left on offer at .75 now :))
