Crumbs did some research on this recently and came up with a minimum of $10 miilion per target and BionTech are investigating 3 targets. However, the 3 targets may be treated as a package if and when it comes to negotiations. On the mice experiments the 3 in combination give 100% survival.
IMO it depends very much on the timing of a possible deal. Post Modi1 data and the data is good then that changes everything.

Here's a bit of insight on how cancer flips the immune switch in its favour.

But what does Lindy's claim of flipping the immune system actually mean?
Are the regulatory T-Cells switched off leaving the tumour with little or no defence?

My list of AGM questions would all be directed at Lindy

a) Can you tell us why CD4+ cycotoxic are amazing to you?
b) Why do your vaccines activate TCells with such high avidity as compared to other approaches?
c) Tell us more about the immune system flipping
d) What is the exact role of interferon gamma in a Modi1 attack
e) Go through, step by step, what happens when the CD4+ Tcells enter the tumour environment
f) ....... and so on

Hopefully tea and coffee would be delayed for a couple of hours.

IMO the BOD (Lindy and Sally excluded) may be League 1 or lower, but why hammer away at them when you could discover more insight into the science. Time better spent IMO.

Yes, the role that Interferon Gamma plays is important. On its own it has been suggested as a way of treating cancer.

There is also protein unfolding taking place which presumably helps to make the target a sitting duck (no longer hidden or at least less hidden than before).

Yes, it's interesting that TCells sometimes play a destructive role on cancer cells and sometimes play a protective role.

I wonder if Lindy's can also check that the isolated TCell has also had the "clonal expansion" pathway completed?

As I understand it, part of activation of the TCell is a pathway to enable clonal expansion.

Look at Cell sorting by flow cytometry for further information.

Prior to using flow cytometry Scancell take blood from normal healthy patients and stimulate it using Moditope. This looks like is what gives the CD4+ Tcell activation.

The fact that they can do this using human blood goes some way to validating Moditope IMO.
What is doesn't do is prove that the activated CD4+ TCells will go on to attack cancer cells in the same way as proven in Mice experiements.

The hold grail of cancer vaccines is to
a) Find the targets
b) Design the means to go after those targets with no side effects

Only time will tell if Lindy has cracked it, but it certainly has caught the attention of many scientists. That attention more than anything is what is encouraging IMO.

Perhaps slide 10 is out of date. Maybe there is an extra step to ensure the TCR is activated.
This is all probably part of Biontech's technology so Scancell will not be able to add too much detail to the processes in any of their own presentations.
It was always my impression that the process started with the selection of a single TCell. I also assumed that the selection would ensure that the TCell selected was the exact type as activated by Moditope. Lindy did say in her persentation back in Feb 2018 that this was a very clever process.

Yes, it all makes sense now.
The master file sits on the shelf until a customer (Scancell) makes reference to it in an IND.
So, one assumes it is now back on the shelf.

As you say, we hope that Ichor are clear on what was holding up the package (Scancell IND) being approved and have not stopped working on the blockage.
I wonder if communication between Ichor and FDA can continue in this situation.
