It is interesting to see how South Korea, once way out in front is now 3rd behind Italy and Iran.

The coronavirus numbers in the UK are a few weeks away from peaking.
IMO the SP will only bottom out when we start seeing good news that the pandemic is under control.
Up until that point we will see further carnage.

Nanodelivery is a totally different technology.
It is more protective of the drug in that the drug is safely enclosed within the nano particle but close enough to the surface of the nanoparticle to allow easy release once the target cell is found.
So this reduces the chance that the drug will degrade before it reaches the target.
Also molecules can be added to the nano-particle surface to help it to attach to the target cell.

IMO, an amazing technology but still in its infancy.
As we know, Lindy is having her own dabble in the technology with the work going on at the NU school of pharmacy.

Whether it turns out of be superior to electorporation for immunobody remains to be seen.

These are scientists we are talking about, not business men.
NU recognised that, without Lindy, glycans mabs would almost certainly not exist.
Their decision to allow Scancell to progress the science has already been shown to be correct so far.
The hope now is that all 3 companies will have a fight over who will now attempt to carry the science through to fruition.
CH the auctioneer watching the bid rise is the best possible outcome.

Well I think the answer is that Lindy developed the glycans mabs with her NU hat on.
NU obviously considered she was best placed to carry it further.
Having humanised the mabs Lindy realised they were going to fail with lower than expected avidity. They had lost their killing ability.
Then Lindy developed Avidimab with her Scancell hat on and the situation totally changed.
NU had faith in their star player.
