2 companies were interested in the TaG antibodies back in 2015.
It just might be the reason why the negotiations have started earlier than expected.
But we don't know it the discussions are on the TaG antibodies, Avidimab as adjuvant or both.
Avidimab as an adjuvant may attract multiple deals.

I recall that Lindy did say in that Sky Presentation that she was now looking at peptides.
It looks like this was maybe concerned with the delivery method rather than the vaccine.

That should be nano delivery of course.

Lindy does seem very keen on improving nano delivery.
This is really intriguing. Peptides on the surface of the nano-particle to help gain access to the cell.

Technically there is share dilution but despite 67% dilution the SP has only gone down 3.65%.

Now IMO having an extra 15mil in the bank puts us in a stronger position when negotiating an Avidimab deal.
It also may increase our chances of government funding for Covidity (SN11).
It gives us money to run trials and hopefully get data from the SCIB1 combo and the Modi1 trials.
It gives us money to develop Modi2 and maybe whatever comes after that.

So, are we better off after today? IMO Yes.

Yes I agree and the market so far seems to like the news.
Not surprisingly the MMs initially marked the SP down and the market has corrected it.
In my memory this is a first for Scancell on a funding announcement.

Perhaps that elusive corner has finally been turned.

I'm guessing it is those three words "Advanced commercial discussions" that is sending the SP higher rather than down to the placing price.

"Advanced commercial discussions" is certainly intriguing.
An American fund buying in that also has a holding in Biontech is also intriguing.
I'm trying desperately not to connect the two but my brain is refusing to cooperate.

My theory is that Russian drones have collected some useful information and passed it on to the Trump administration.

There's certainly a synergistic relationship between Scancell and Nottingham Uni that is beneficial to both.
Avidimab and the associated TaG antibodies is a prime example. All the work done under Lindy's direction and mainly with her Nottingham Uni hat on.
If it ends up as approved products, Nottingham Uni will have their share of the royalties and a great deal of kudos.
