C7, good luck for Monday and it will be interesting to hear your oncologist's views about restarting cancer trials.

Whilst I can understand the focus on Covidity news, It could be that the SCIB1 trial restarting would be the first news of note.
With vaccination going well and new Covid19 cases dropping, Hospital Trusts may be thinking about the possibility of restarting cancer trials.
It's still probably too early to set a date on this and hospitals have to be reasonably certain that there isn't going to be another major surge in cases this year.
So my double is SCIB1 trial restarting followed by Modi1 fully manufactured and trial ready to go.
Of course, the left field is wide open too :-)

It sounds like the Kite CAR-T research which was the reason Gilead originally bought Kite isn't going that well. There has been a 1.6 billion cut in Gilead's valuation of Kite's assets. Could it be that Gilead are the US company for which Scancell have a collaboration for Glycans/Avidimab?
Lindy has previously said that Avidimab could mediate a CAR-T attack and Scancell also recently advertised a vacancy for a CAR-T specialist.

Pure speculation and pretty tenuous but who knows?

Correction

Instead of saying

I should have said

"10 years to develop a type of antibody that attaches to multiple targets"

I've just skipped through that article and it makes a great deal of sense.
But is this not similar to Lindy's approach?
The difference is that Lindy's approach activates T Cells specific to multiple targets rather than generating antibodies for multiple targets? The neutralising antibodies for the S protein are also produced.

So Lindy has chosen some targets on the S protein and also the N protein with the aim of activating T Cells for these targets.
We have to wait and see about the effectiveness of Covidity, but whereas the article talks about 10 years to develop an effective multi-antibody approach Lindy is already there with her T Cell approach. What's more, Immunobody makes it easy to add new targets.
The other aspect that we should not forget is that the effectiveness of memory T Cells lasts for years not months.

You would hope that the people who need to know about the promising approach of Covidity do actually know.
As far as it being generally known, I don't think Lindy would be in favour of this, at least until it goes into a clinical trial.
Going back to the talk Lindy gave on Modi1, she pointed out on 2 separate occasions that it is yet to be proven in clinical trials. Not one for any hint of a misleading claim is our Lindy.

I actually don't think you can read anything into CH's apparent nervousness.
He became more relaxed recently when a Glycan/Avidimab deal was on the cards.
Now he has reverted back to his usual style.
Also, I don't think we should fret about lack of news at present. We await development of delivery and recommencement of cancer trails. Both of which could take months rather than weeks.
The research will continue as usual of a number of fronts.

Of course we could re-classify certain individuals :-)

I'd much rather that all profits are used in a controlled manner to keep increasing the existing tailings operations and add new ones as and when opportunities arise. As alluded to by Leon the successful projects can be replicated on a global scale.

It seems to suggest that perhaps nanoparticles may not be involved in delivery. Maybe the delivery is via a conjugation of the DNA plasmid (Covidity) and the appropriate cell binding peptides.
If this delivery method proves to be successful, it may be another useful tool in the fight against Covid19 that could be applied to other vaccines too.
