With a SCiB1 combo trial due to restart as soon as the pandemic permits and also a phase 1 Covidity trial soon to start, this really puts Immunobody in the limelight. Also the scope of Immunobody will be so much greater should Scancell achieve success with Covidity. There is also the prospect of a SCIB2 trial perhaps with a partner involved. This possible trial would be with a SCIB2 made more potent with the addition of Avidimab and also the peptide delivery system.
Exciting times just on the Immunobody front, without even looking at all the other irons in the fire that Scancell have.

It's frustrating that they can't beat teams like Fulham and Brighton at home. Still, I think they will survive. West Brom next, again a game they should win

I was thinking along the same lines. If Covidity is successful, a deal for Immunobody looks likely and I suspect it would be a mega deal.

It really is worth listening to Lindy's AGM presentation a number of times

If you start about 26 minutes in, you will find Lindy talking about FG129.
This is a mAB to be used to deliver toxic drugs to INSIDE a cancer cell. Toxic drugs that would probably kill a person without this delivery method.

Lindy has tested this on nude mice (mice with no immune response) that have been injected with a human tumour. Left alone the tumour grows. If FG129 is used with a toxic drug , the tumour shrinks and disappears.

Lindy would be the first to say that it is not proven in humans but this must have enormous potential.

But then that is a good example of "Confirmation Bias" :-)

Exactly and judging by the results of that Biontech trial they are a long way from achieving an effective vaccine.
Lindy's obsession with achieving high avidity seems to be a much better approach.

Yes, there is the requirement of a large pharma to implement the work of these scientists but where would we be without those initial lightbulb moments?

I get the impression that Nottingham Uni can't wait to use Immunobody against other viruses.
We may hear more about this as the year progresses and the Uni has spare bodies to look into this.
