After hour trading every day of late has had £1m+ single trades going through, whether these are really buys or sells who knows, but for sure there is definitely interest in PTEC shares, today's movement needs explaining, from freefall to steady rise with no news.

Quite apt that this hike in salary should make headlines, I expect a bit of a shareholder revolt to this and rightly so at a time when the business is having to adjust to tougher market conditions, it would seem reasonable to award these increases after an upturn in trading performance. Currently nothing has been proven good bad or indifferent, but one thing is for sure the pressure will be on now for PTEC to perform,.
Near term it will very interesting to see what the performance has been like over recent months, but with the recent pullback in sp suggests nothing out of the ordinary.

Updating the market, Playtech BGT completes its OPAP terminal delivery and systems upgrade project first announced in September 2017.

OPAP’s entire 4,000 Greek retail betting premises will be powered by Playtech BGT modules, supplying Service Betting Terminals (SSBTs) and over-the-counter (OTC) services.

This recent article highlights PTEC latest venture in newly regulated Portugal.
After the drop the only institution to reduce their stake has been FMR, and that was from 5.05% to below 5%.
No other institutions have sold, and so far all are staying loyal to PTEC.
Volume on the day was about 20m and PTEC have about 317m shares issued, so roughly 6% of issued shares were traded, and bare in mind that a good proportion were buys.

At 16.35, looks like somebody has confidence in PTEC amongst the after hours trading, blue day as well, hope sentiment changes and we get a few more large buys next week.

I think the problem with RPC is not that it produces plastic, which in the main is non biodegradable and is therefore a major problem for the planet, that could be rectified at the drop of a hat if the powers that be chose to do something about it.
It's about money, and the way RPC report how they have made it, over recent years it's mainly by acquisition, the accountants then massage the numbers legally, and come up with the headline profit, head honchos get their bonus payments everybody's happy.
Only problem is that some hedge funds and others disagree, and say that the accounting methods don't reflect the true financial position of the company.
So we take out pick, it's all about money, smoke and mirrors, not as i first thought plastic.

My understanding was that the tokens issued allowed the purchaser to a discount on the product when it becomes available.
If these tokens can be traded and increase or decrease in value i don't know.
The company gets the cash to spend how they wish, so how much remains of that is unknown to us until they release some figures.

I watched the recent investor video which highlighted the business model, how they get their leads from the universities, and the ones they selected to progress and why.
At such an exciting time in the company's history i am surprised to see the sp at such a low level.
Considering that the ambition of the company is to hit one of its three major interests "out of the ballpark for a home run" this year makes this investment both interesting, and also exciting, if they are successful it won't be down here for long.

Okay so PTEC revenues will reduce by a significant amount in Asia, the rest of the business is trading in line with expectations, the snaitech acquisition will bring a significant increase in revenue, the GVC sale will raise money as well, the upshot is that EBITDA is forecast to be greater than 2017.
12 brokers also have PTEC recommended as a very strong buy.
Best of all p/e of about 7,

When PTEC talk about their Asian markets do they really mean China, and this is where the problem lies. It's a bit of a grey area.
