Thx for that info I am with ii and surprised there is no chat on CCC at all, plus as you said earlier this is a quiet board, but I get the impression that the sector is fragmented as there is opportunities for m&a as consolidation takes place generally I am a novice in this space trying to pick out companies of reasonable size and turnover I will have a look at Made Tech to broaden my knowledge.

I don't know about MC but it's up to him if he manufacturers a bid knowing it won't succeed then on the rise sells his shares into it, if he did that that tells you all you need to know about him as a character.

I can only speak for myself a sold half my holding when we hit £4.50 a while ago and said so at the time, also as the sp declined wished I had sold the lot but I had a good average, I sold some more on this this bid and thought great if it goes through I will get some more.

The company itself imo was walked down to a ridiculous level almost inviting a bid the outlook for mineral sands is better this year than last and I am pleased MC has gone as I felt he was holding the company back, so overall the outlook is bright for KMR I am sorry that you and probably many others have been here a long time waiting for this opportunity and it hasn't happened, luckily for me I am a Jonny come lately after the refinancing was done and KMR started on its way back up.

To be honest when we £4.50 I thought this is going to run higher due to the p/e being very low a suppose that's the Mozambique effect and was sorely disappointed with the fall and waste of money on tender issues and like when the board knew finances were required for the first WCP move and had to borrow to do it when it could mainly have been done from fcf so yes very pleased MC has gone.

A lot of lth have been here 15 years and through some very sorry times when the business could have folded and lost everything so this deal for them was ideal to get out with profit that I understand.

In my eyes they have up till now never aimed for 100% efficiently of operations increased size of dredges more efficient operation of the asset which they seem to be doing with the current investment programme gets the upcoming WCP done and they are go for years along with other improvements of operations.

The mine has 100 years of life and under our previous leader always talked the stock down never optimistic always focusing on a dark cloud that might never arise.

This mine is worth far more than the low ball offer rejected by the board, try building a mine from scratch with that amount of investment and let's not forget about the workforce required.

i might add that investors had the chance to sell part of their holdings when the SP surged when this offer was mooted and bank some profit with more to come if it did go through

Another I looked at was Global Data however it has debt and rated highly p/e wise so steered away from them although I see they have had the wagons circled with interest from others, in fact that was company that led me to CCC and BYIT.

That's a great summary and backs up my research bytes maybe top end of valuation but at present good growth may slow but CCC is the steady Eddie with as you state a wider reach footprint wise and imo a lower and undeserved rating, my order got filled so pleased to join you here.

That was my route into Sepl as well at the time I was miffed Elland had been bought out however it took me a while to search out Sepl and buy in but pleased I did as you say it has not been a one way ride to these levels but very up and down even now I don't think we are on many investors radar which may only attract these investors as the company grows with it's mcap being picked up on screens along with p/e ratio and dividend I feel this is in fact just the start of the potential to be realised here over the coming years.

Put a small buy order in today let's see if it gets filled sentiment seems to be on the negative side so I am confident it will be filled.

Fantastic news if investors are here for the long term, just when KMR are getting their house in order and the company 100% aligned with it's potential along came this offer, I have just seen ADT1 picked off this week overjoyed this has not gone the same way, and I do think our sp has been walked down to make their offer more attractive which is exactly what happened over at ADT.

Great to see confirmation that this deal has been successfully completed excepting government approval which should be a formality, surprised by the effective date of December 2023 that quite some time this deal has taken to complete nevertheless well done AET.

I have been researching CCC as a diversification away from my core investments which are in commodities I have a small stake in Bytes which is holding its own and was looking here to pair it with that, they seem to complement each other covering the it section any opinions?

Even though the director sales are a disappointment a glance at the two years share price chart shows we are at more or less two year highs so with improving sentiment perhaps we can go higher, after all nothing goes up in a straight line and there is nothing at present that indicates a sudden change in the positive outlook for pgms

as it stands we look good to go higher car manufacturers moving to hybrids, Platinum in deficit plus overall production of pgms declining as higher cost producers stop their operations.

Disappointed to see a sizeable sell from the CFO especially after the recent rise in sp, hopefully the rise pgms will continue and today turns out to be a minor setback rather than someone with insider knowledge selling before news damaging to the company emerges.

If there is a silver lining as stated when the buyback starts more shares for their money, however nevertheless it is disappointing.

Decided to sell I can always pick up DPM shares at a later date after more research pity ADT never got the chance on the UK listing to show it's worth, oh well another one bites the dust.

Never a fan of buybacks reducing the mcap while increasing eps however the markets reaction is a welcome change and hopefully a reversal of fortune for AXL who seems to have been hammered for not maintaining barrels growth although the balance sheet was catching no harm.

With two rigs running hopefully some news not far away, the momentum of today can be maintained to get the sp back up to reality of what AXL are achieving.

On the face of it with out to much research DPM should be rolling in cash going forward 200k Oz gold mine and adding silver, I tend to think they have done due diligence regarding ramp up of production and are very confident they did have a strong balance sheet so this transaction will have put a dent in it although I haven't looked in how they are financing this probably loan, new shares and cash I am beginning to lean towards adding to the DPM shares we get in this transaction.

Although there is truth in what you are stating it is though backward looking, the mine building was tough and expensive hence the rises to see ADT through, although once it's done you don't do it again they are in the process of ramping up production a little later than forecast however silver prices are very healthy and the quality of the asset has never been in doubt.

DPM however also have a good cash generating business in a low cost 200k Oz mine operations so adding ADT imo makes them more attractive to buy into.

On the plus side DPM pay a small dividend and the shares can be traded on ii so it's possible to sell the DPM shares, let's be realistic here with the silver price where it is today it's more likely to rise given its ratio to gold is out of kilter so DPM have more than likely bought a cash generator so there is partner of me pondering buying some DPM to continue the journey.

The only other worry which hasn't been mentioned is that there are political tensions arising again in the Balkans hopefully it won't manifest in another war.

Am I right the part shares are worth an extra £1.59 it would better if it was an all cash deal what use are the small number of shares I would continue to hold.
