You would struggle to get MH's car as owned by the company let alone a drilling rig. Why would an exploration company need or want to own anything other than the stuff in the ground the donkey getting out of the ground and the pipeline to the tank? ( these are old wells) you hire in a company to do the work overs unless you have hundreds to do then you would buy an intervention company. Codswallop

Assets are drilling writes old wells and bought data which generally is outdated.

How many people within a real oil and gas company it takes to buy and maintain something as simple as a diesel driven ATEX pump?

Have a look at Altus Intervention's web site there are loads of other companies. Well intervention or work overs come in a vast array of different activities requiring many number of differing capabilities / departments depending on what is required. This after an in depth investigation as to how best to improve the production a good Intervention Engineer will be on £100k (granted land work it cheaper) never mind the equipment required. Again it's not Echo's field of work so why own a rig?

Echo only has 15 employees I can't see them owning their own work over rig let alone run one. So the idea of anything sitting ideal since June on a site doesn't stack up. If it's on site you will be paying for it.

Then he said aiming to get to 2.5k ( reopening and work overs)
The he said started this year at 2.5k? (1st item on his list of items in the pipeline)

To me it wasn't very clear to the production rate at the time and the increases from both opening closed in wells and the expected gains from work overs?

Took and interest in both ECH and SOU with a view to invest due to knowing a senior player within one. did a lot DYOR. Like all the companies iv'e worked in or owned I keep an eye on. Just like a film you want to see how things pan out. These two companies are the same.

I think I've posted before we follow companies and people where we can learn from them. Generally these are the good ones but I also keep and eye on ones that aren't so clever as I can still learn from them.

Averaging down only works for those who really believe in the company, they will stick with the company in the belief that one day the company will come good as will their losses. Their in it for the long haul because they haven't gotten a return as yet.

They will also defend their strategy or the company to the hilt, They will also tell you that you are middle aged? is that to them?
