i noticed that also wizard. Should people use food crops to eat or drive their cars lol. Luckily jatropha seeds which D1 oils uses cannot be eaten! this article is worth a read, i stole it off another message board:

could this be the reason why the SP is falling? I just hope they didnt pay top dollar for UK land, but there seems to be some interest in the land for it to sell or lease long term. I agree though with D1 oils relocating away from UK for the long run, i just dont know why they had the idea working in UK in the first place. All production for the long-run should be done in Asia imo. just set up in a village in India or China, less regulations, cheap labour, cheap land, increasing demand for energy, and the main thing which is no backlash from employees because they work for survival and not for the latest ipod or plasma lol!
I noticed that D1 oils actually farms out production rather than buying the actual land in India, which is actually a good idea imo. To put it in perspective, my fathers family owns 40 acres of indian land in the middle of nowhere but near a large main road, in the punjab area in india. It is rented out to poor arable farmers and it only yields a mere 4k per annum. the farmers barely scrape by, by selling the crops. 40 acres is around 16 hectares. cont...
